To transition, gradually mix in the new food over a 5 - 7 day period, increasing the amount of Wellness Simple each day, so that you are feeding 100% Wellness Simple by day 7. This food is formulated for adult, non-reproducing dogs over one year old as puppies and pregnant or nursing mothers have special nutritional requirements.

Sensitive pup!
By Sarah on Feb 13, 2021
My dog has a super sensitive stomach and sensitive skin. Her stomach was to the point where she had to be put on a prescription digestive low fat diet. Being on this low fat diet caused her to have acid reflux almost every day and she was still very itchy all over and constantly biting her behind. We’ve been slowly transitioning off the prescription diet onto this food and so far, so good (we’re at 50/50). She likes the flavor and looks forward to eating. Since starting this food, her acid reflux has stopped, itching seems to be improving and is not biting her behind as much. Very happy with this switch!

Dog feels better
By Jess on Jan 28, 2021
I have a Newfie that is a picky eater that gets itchy if she eats the wrong thing, she still turns her nose up to this from time to time, but has been worlds above anything else we’ve tried and most important she has been feeling better! As a bonus, it doesn’t have as strong of a smell as some other brands we’ve tried

Seems pretty good
By Stacy on Dec 21, 2020
Just switched over from TOTW because my dogs were scratching constantly and biting their behinds often. So far both of those issues have been much better on Wellness. I am going to give some more time and hope it keeps helping, before I decide on permanently keeping them on it.

Such high hopes. Dashed
By Northwoods on Dec 4, 2020
My picky eater strikes again. I could cry at this point. This food seems like such a fit, decent company, good ingredients, ratios spot on. So many reviews of picky eaters loving it. Not mine a week in and back to starvation mode. I hate that it only came in a large bag. Such a large investment. I am at a loss what to feed anymore.

He likes it, and he doesn't like much
By muttmomma on Oct 2, 2020
This is a good choice for a dog with food sensitivities, it contains a good protein level and the essential vitamins, and other supplements for a well rounded diet. The kibble pieces are a smaller size, and not hard for senior dogs and dogs with missing teeth or dental issues to chew. The flavor must be good and appealing, because my senior Shar-Pei has taken to eating happily without any coaxing, after several months of cajoling him to eat his former food (a different protein source). If my old guy goes for his bowl and eats everything offered, that's saying alot, because he's been a fussy eater all of his life.

Nice change

My dog has allergies. He’s on medication but switched him from chicken to lamb. He loves it

Great for dogs with allergies!
By AdoptDontShop on Oct 23, 2020
I love the Wellness line and so does our fur baby. Our rescue boy has allergies to meat protein and poultry, but needs to eat grain inclusive food per our vet. This hits both marks and he loves it. Thank you Wellness!

Dogs like it
By Heymaahh on Oct 9, 2020
I’m transitioning over from Natural Balance LID It’s too expensive now. The Great Danes seem to like the new food and the old chocolate lab too

Lab didn’t like this food
By PatsnSox11 on Jul 13, 2020
This is the first food my food motivated lab spit out. He seemed to like it at first, but it only did ok with his sensitive stomach, he was still having very soft stool. Then he started walking away from it and not finishing it, even spitting it out when I gave him a few pieces as a treat. Judging by the ingredients and inclusion of pre and probiotics it seems like a great dog food, but it didn’t work for us.
