Feeding Instructions

Serve at room temperature. Cover and refrigerate the unused portion. The amount of food your dog requires depends on age, activity level, breed and environment. Always provide access to clean, fresh water.

When fed alone to Adults: feed 3/4 - 1 1/4 cans per 15 lbs of body weight per day.

For combination feeding: reduce dry by 1/3 cup for every 1/2 can wet.

Transition Instructions

The best way to transition onto a new food is to gradually introduce the food by mixing it with the old diet. Mixing the food will allow the dog to acclimate to the new taste and not overindulge on the new food.

Please STOP putting carrageenan in everything.

    By on

I would love to buy this for our dog, but this and many companies puts carrageenan in their food. Carrageenan triggers inflammation, gastrointestinal ulcerations, and it damages your digestive system. The dog does not need their food filled, thickened, or emulsified! They eat puke, poop, and dirt. They don't care about thick gravy! jeez....

    Not for us

    By on

I recently tried this with my bulldog as we had her tested for allergies and this food was on the list of safe foods for her to eat. Everytime we try to feed this to her she regurgitates it back up. We never even completely switched her to this food so this was happening on just a small amount of this food so we will not be feeding this food to our dog. Very disappointed as I read the reviews and they seemed really good.

    Great Food!

    By on

One our our dogs recently got tested for allergies. This food was on the huge list of foods and (treats) that she could eat. While I prefer dry food, this food was not on the list in dry for her to eat. Regardless, she loves this food. Wellness is a good brand and they are located in the US.

    Dogs love it.

I bought this to deal with Ellie May's allergies. It seems to be helping. Plus unlike many foods lately it is NOT grain free. My vet wanted me to put grains back into the dogs' diet for their heart health.

It is Named So Well "Simple"

    By on

My pup has allergies to so many things. Had her tests taken and avoid all items on her allery list. Still had a hard time finding the right food that made her tummy not upset and made her not get fatty and bloaty. Tried Wellness Simple and Willow has flourished and is doing so very well. Been on it for 2 months and she loves it and has not had any adverse reactions or any upset tummy since which is a record breaker. It is a great feeling to see her begging for her food to be placed down for her. She inhales it and is so content. Thank you Wellness!

    My dogs liked it

The dogs run the show at our house - we work for them. And they all gave thumbs up for this food. I wish it was a little cheaper in price and that’s reason for FOUR STARS.

    Picky critter . . .

    By on

It smelled good, looked good, but my Bulldog/Pit mix wanted nothing to do with it. Her Vet said due to her allergies I should try a different source of protein for her. I'm sure it would be good for others just not my finicky critter . . . .
