    Sam - likes it!!

By Sigi on Jan 4, 2022

Due to my Golden's constant scratching I thought I should feed him the Simple Limited Ingredient dog food. I now am feeding him the dry and canned version. I was worried he may not like the taste but he actually loves it - thank goodness. We'll see if it makes a difference and reduces his skin itch.

    Full of Fat

By dddddddddddddd on Jul 22, 2020

This was pretty disgusting. As with all Wellness canned food it was so full of fat that I had to scoop the globules out of the can before ever feeding it to my dogs. After I got as much fat as I could out of the can, I reluctantly fed what was left to my dogs hoping their arteries weren't being clogged This was pretty disgusting. I also purchased Wellness senior canned dog food for my older dog at the same time, and it was also full of jelly-like fat. Just awful. … more

    Good Stuff

The vet suggested a non traditional protein for my allergic pup, so I gave Wellness Duck & Oatmeal a try. He loves it, and his allergic feet have improved. I mix wet and dry food and my dog finishes the bowl, which he never did before.

    Good for dogs with allergies

    By on

My toy pom is pretty much allergic to everything, poultry, fish, sweet potato, turkey etc... everything. After a lot of trail and error and exhausted i found this, she is good with Duck. She's been on this for years now and its been working well. Unfortunately, cant say the same for the dry food with this same brand. She's allergic to the dry food for this same limited ingredients duck..

My furbaby ZsaZsa LaRue has 23 food allergies. ZsaZsa LaRue loves it. Dosnt have any funky smell and great way to hide her medication. Roll in little ball. Give it 5 star!

Please STOP putting carrageenan in everything.

    By on

I would love to buy this for our dog, but this and many companies puts carrageenan in their food. Carrageenan triggers inflammation, gastrointestinal ulcerations, and it damages your digestive system. The dog does not need their food filled, thickened, or emulsified! They eat puke, poop, and dirt. They don't care about thick gravy! jeez....

    Not for us

    By on

I recently tried this with my bulldog as we had her tested for allergies and this food was on the list of safe foods for her to eat. Everytime we try to feed this to her she regurgitates it back up. We never even completely switched her to this food so this was happening on just a small amount of this food so we will not be feeding this food to our dog. Very disappointed as I read the reviews and they seemed really good.

    Dogs love it.

I bought this to deal with Ellie May's allergies. It seems to be helping. Plus unlike many foods lately it is NOT grain free. My vet wanted me to put grains back into the dogs' diet for their heart health.

    Great Food!

    By on

One our our dogs recently got tested for allergies. This food was on the huge list of foods and (treats) that she could eat. While I prefer dry food, this food was not on the list in dry for her to eat. Regardless, she loves this food. Wellness is a good brand and they are located in the US.
