    The food is good

By Bryan on Jun 24, 2021

I give the actual food in the can a full five stars. I do recommend the item with some caveats. The unfortunate part about cat food is that the number one quality about cat food that I look for is the 12.5 ounce can. The reason why this is currently important is because that's exactly how much food my current kitties consume in a day. Previously, when I only had one cat, he would consume exactly a 12.5 ounce can in two days. The size is perfect. The problem with the 10 ounce can is that if I try to get by on only one can in a day, the cats are waking me up at midnight to let me know they are not willing to wait the four extra hours for that extra 2.5 ounces of food. I know, it's such a small thing. I really did try to switch them to a food like this, mostly because I think that pate type foods are kind of gross, but it's just not going to work out. Oh, and there is also another caveat that the fish flavored ones smell absolutely disgusting, as in I can't have them in my kitchen. The on-fish ones, though, are among some of the best commercial cat foods I've tried. I just need that extra 2.5 ounces. … more

Not good for a picky cat

By Durjeh on Oct 8, 2021

Cat won't eat the Polynesian BBQ flavor. Most likely others won't either. I do not recommend.

Initially love the fish but getting tired very fast

By JasminBoss on Apr 25, 2021

Initially the cats were thrilled by the mack and Jack can, but subsquent days they prefer the chicken flavor instead of the fish flavors. I think the BBQ fish was the one they really dislike. I better not get too much fish meals for my cats.

    Weruva wet cat food

By Mamacat on Feb 19, 2021

My three cats absolutely love it. I tried it because catinfo.org gave it a high recommendation. The ten ounce cans are more economical and convenient than the usual three ounce cans of cat food that are normally available. I am trying to get used to the resulting cat fish breath.

    Cat loves it!

By MZimm on Dec 12, 2020

One of my three cats has a chicken allergy, so she loves the fish based flavours. The boys get the chicken flavour in the variety pack as a treat. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the last time I purchased a pack, there was a can of Weruva's Dogs in the Kitchen food. Hopefully it was just a fluke! Gave it to my neighbours doggo as an early Christmas present!

    The cats like it

By Gwendolyn on Feb 24, 2021

The cans are bigger than the average 3 ounce can of cat food. That's why I buy it. I am feeding a few stray cats at work and they eat it

High-Quality Food - An Investment into Healthy Cats

By CCline on Sep 17, 2020

I've been using this food for years for three cats. The larger can size works out for us, as each meal needs a single can divided into three portions, and I feed twice a day. While it is on the pricier side of cat food, the results are three cats (one of which has asthma) at healthy weights for their sizes with plenty of energy to spare. This is according to the family vet, who has reassured me several times that I do not need to feed them more than what I have been. Aside from our asthmatic cat, the other two rarely have any health concerns, and I think that is, in part, due to a high-quality diet.

    Cats love this

By Weruva on Sep 29, 2020

I am feeding about 17 cats. There is always a fussy one or two who will take one bite and walk away, then come looking for another flavor. Not with this food. They leave clean plates. Due to the number of cats and expense, I only give them this food about twice a week.

    Cats' favorite

By Gosia on Sep 21, 2020

My cats get bored with the same type of food very quickly. So far the four varieties offered in this case seem to keep them coming back for more. They like all 4 of the flavors.
