    We Luv Ya, Weruva

By ReneeL on Jan 29, 2018

We're new to Weruva foods, so I wasn't too sure what to expect. Expectations were exceeded! Lovin' the ingredients and the names of the food! The kitten, Jayce, gobbled all the foods down. And the picky 2 year old cat, Keala, actually tried one of the foods. Her favorite was the Chicken Frick 'A Zee. We're new to Weruva foods, so I wasn't too sure what to expect. Her favorite was the Chicken Frick 'A Zee. Sure, she ate it as slow as molasses, but she actually ate it! Couldn't be happier with these foods. We'll definitely purchase these again once what we have runs out. Would highly recommend! … more

    Cats did not like it

By shar on Jan 28, 2018

The texture of the food was definitely fine. The amount of the food that was in the can was great and just the right amount for my cat but for some reason my cat's did not like it they would sniff it and walk away from it or they would eat a little bit and then walk away from it. The only way I got them to eat it was if they were really really hungry so I suggest if you were going to try this food buy a smaller amount maybe one and a pouch, just to try it out to see if your cat likes it … more

  • not for my cats

    By on

I was really looking forward to feeding my cats some real human grade food but they weren't having it. The food was big in sizes so i had to cut them up each time i fed them (keep in mind, they are spoiled.. just a little, lol) and my partner didn't like the way it looked or smelled, none of it bothered me. Unfortunately, i will not be reordering this again since they were not a fan but I will still recommend Chewys! (=

They love it, but they prefer fishy ones only. I wish they had a fish variety only . The chicken and lamb went to waste.

The Chicken Frick 'A Zee is the only wet food ever that our 2 cats absolutely refuse to eat. The other flavors are fine.

  • Ideal for Nutrition. My Cats Detest It

    By on

This is a nutritionally ideal food for cats, but my reclaimed ferals will not eat it. Occasionally, a cat that has been prevented from eating for days will eat it once, but desperation is the only way any of them will tolerate it. (The feral males are devoted to preventing any other cat from eating--ever. Keeps me busy and out of trouble trying to get every cat fed.)

  • hit and miss

I wanted to try something new for my cats so a variety pack of quality food sounded like something to try. Some of my cats loved certain flavors of this while others didn't. Guess it depends on your cats taste.

  • A picky eater

    By on

I have 2 cats that I tried this on. One is a very picky eater and just licked the gravy off. But my other cat loved the food. I found some of the pieces to be long and stringy. Just need to be careful if you have a cat that eats too fast.

‘My cats are finicky eaters, and will eat maybe a third of the can only.

  • 50/50 for the cats in this household

Between my cats and my fosters (a total of 9) I only had 4 that would eat these recipes. The Funk in the Trunk was not touched at all, but the lamb recipe was their favorite. If you have a finicky cat I'm not sure I'd try this, but I do have a few that will eat anything and of course this was delightful to them.

  • Only one kind.

Cats will only eat the lamb. :-( Who knows why. Their palette is too used to Friskies, maybe.

  • Hit or miss for all 4 of my cats

    By on

Depending on your cats this is a hit or miss on each flavor, the only one most of my cats loved was the yellow can chicken
