Where is this food made?
Answer by • Sep 05, 2021
Weruva “human-style” foods are made in Thailand in facilities that also make food for people – in fact, much of the people food goes to the US, EU, Australia and Japan. Thailand is a world leader in producing foods for people (and in this case, pets) around the globe. Weruva choose to make their food in Thailand because of their close partnerships with the US and their ability to meet our stringent manufacturing standards. Other Interesting Facts about Pet Foods Made in Thailand are that the USFDA recognizes the Thai FDA, the facility where Weruva is made is USFDA certified, Thailand provides a large portion of the fish consumed in the U.S. and pet foods produced in Thailand are subject to greater scrutiny than in the U.S.

Smell good and a lot of vegetables but a lot of long pieces of shredded chicken. I usually have to chop it up for my dogs.

Looks like people food!
My two German Dogs, a German Shepherd and a Miniature Schnauzer, are SO FUSSY! I have been through a plethora of different dog food to please these monsters with rarely a success. But this Grandma's Chicken Soup not only looks like people food but smells like it and the two of them just lap it up! I do not know how long this will continue but I'm hoping for a good long time. After all, Grandma's Chicken Soup is good!

great for dogs with digestive disorders
My dog had HGE and pancreatitis and was on prescription low fat food for a while. This is about the same price point, much better ingredients, and she LOVES it!
*twice my order has come with a busted can and many have dents...but I can always get customer service to resolve my issue*

Excellent food
my extremely fussy dog thinks this is delicious ! she is so fussy that she doesn't always eat the chicken I poach for her but is enjoying this tremendously, cleans the bowl ! I do microwave it briefly to warm up and mix with her kibble because I am not in favor of totally grain free.

Amazing food for those with sensitive tummy
I know it's not advertised as such, and it's not an RX food, however we went through the ringer with my yorkies belly issues. He has pancreatitis as well as sensitivities and didn't seem to digest kibble well anymore. But very few canned foods are low enough in fat on a DRY MATTER BASIS (once converted) to be acceptable for him with his pancreatitis. Their website lists all these %'s out in their detailed nutritional analyses and the company has always answered any of my questions in detail. It's expensive but worth it to have his belly be happy finally. We feed Grandmas chicken soup as well as jammin salmon and cirque de le mer (tuna based which is the lowest fat one available).
