Great Food
Had my corgi allergy tested. Weruva Peking Ducken was one item on approved list. He loves it.
Max loves Weruva
For the 3 years I've had this senior Pomeranian, Max was very fussy about his food. The only thing he wanted was people food, especially meat. It was a chore to find a dog food he would eat. Then I bought a few cans of Weruva at a local pet store and Max was a different dog. He loved all the flavors we tried. The reviews on Chewy website for Weruva were excellent so I purchased 5 cases of his favorites and now meal time is a pleasure.
Busted cans
My dog loves this dog food and we had no busted cans this time
They LOVED it!
Both of my dogs like waking up to Weruva. Our cats have been on Weruva cat food for some time (and will occasionally turn their noses up at it -- because they're cats!), so I thought I'd try it for variety for our dogs. Since the dogs are fed raw in the evenings, it's hard to impress them, but they really loved this stuff. Heck! If it weren't so expensive and I had only dog food options to eat, I'd eat this stuff without hesitation. It looks like food, because it is real food. And the dogs know that!
Love Weruva - This One's Not a Favorite
We've had the Peking Ducken on rotation with the Jammin' Salmon. Our American Bulldog's been very gassy and not as satisfied as he is with many of the other Weruva varieties. After his meals, he's been begging for treats & his cat siblings' food. I think the Jammin Salmon is the main culprit in terms of the gassiness, but he seems to have liked several of the other Weruva varieties much better than this one. Weruva food is amazing, by the way. This one's just not a favorite.
People Food
Since I started feeding my dogs Weruva brand foods, their energy levels have doubled. Many mornings, they would smell their bowls and walk away, but with Weruva, they eat is clean, then check out each others bowls to make sure nothing was left by the others. I am not rating a single flavor - I try to purchase something different, along with their favorites, in each order. That works well as long as it's been Weruva. The chicken looks just identical to the chicken breasts my wife buys in cans for chicken salad for lunches or other cooking needs. Everyone who sees cannot believe it is dogfood. I have not found any flavor by Weruva that my pets do not like, but I want to see some different, but ordinary, flavors. Chicken is great, and the pumpkin soups and gravy is OK too, but I would like to try a little diversity: maybe made with a real beef (real, like the chicken) by using real pieces of meat, or maybe with other wild game. It is rather expensive, but based on my pups' actions, that is money well spent.
They don’t love it.
It looks fantastic, but he kids don’t love it. They pick and poke at it, I tell them it’s good for them and that’s the end of that, but it will sit in the bowl for awhile. Unfortunately I won’t order this product again.
Great for picky eaters
My Chihuahua mix is a recent rescue. I no suspect he was fed table scraps as he turned his nose up at all our high quality dog food. I got him this brand and he loves it. Just a couple of teaspoons added to our regular kibble and he eats like a dockworker! Expensive but a can lasts almost a week.
Not their favorite
Weruva is amazing food and this product is no exception. I only gave it 4 stars because my dogs do not care for the flavor, not because the product line is not superior.
My Maltese loves this
My 13 year old Maltese/Poodle mix loves this food. He is in Heart Failure and one of the only things he will eat. I am so glad to have found this food! Terrific quality and worth the $$.
