  • The new formula is terrible

    By on

My three cats have eaten Polynesian BBQ for years and the can was full of very chunky fish and they enjoyed the texture. The new formula is a lot of mysterious pulverized goo with one chunk of fish on top. It seems like a way to make the food in a less expensive way. We aren't ordering it anymore and I haven't found anything that is similar to the old version.

  • Pretty good

    By on Top 50 Contributor

My cats really like this flavor. It's like a pate with chunks of meat. I REALLY appreciate Weruva removing carrageenan too. It's hard to find pet food without carrageenan. Anyway, there's not too much gravy, so you get your money's worth without the food being watered down.

  • New Formula

    By on

I have been ordering Weruva foods for my two cats for almost a year now and they have loved it but I ordered the same flavors again in August after the formula was changed and now they won't eat any of it anymore. I have managed to coerce them to eat by putting freeze dried treat/toppings on top and mixing it in but now I am spending even more money just to get them to eat. I am now going to have to do more research and find something else they will eat better then your new formula.

  • Bring back the old formula!

    By on

Weruva is generally a quality protein cat food. My finicky cat really liked Polynesian BBQ until you changed the formula. Please bring back the old version!

  • Why did they change a good thing?

    By on

Our 2 kitties, very finicky eaters, have always liked the Polynesian BBQ in aspic. In starting to reorder today, we saw that it is now in gravy, which our kitties never like. So now we're back to square one, looking for something they will eat. Thanks a lot, Weruva!

  • If my cats could do paw stands

    By on

My cats Honey and Chaz just love this cat food and if they could they would do hand, or in their cases paw stands for this can food.

  • Cats don’t like new formula

    By on

Please bring back the old recipe. I could always count on my two picky girls to eat this but now they turn their nose up at it most of the time.

  • Change in formula a disaster

    By on

The original Polynesian bbq was an aspic based formula. They have changed it to gravy. My cats won’t eat it. Now I have to research to find something they will eat. This was a terrible decision on the manufacturer’s part.

Not only such a wide variety which I can't find in the stores, but also cheaper! My cats are very picky so I took a chance on ordering 4 different flavors. They loved all of them!! Very happy to shop here!!!
