    thick texture, some flavors a hit

    There are really, really mixed reviews of this product, either super high or super low, and I think a true picture of the food isn't presented by most. Yes, the pate is super thick; my cats prefer it to be mashed up with a fork but another friend says her cat prefers it to not be mashed up. Yes, the pate is super thick; my cats prefer it to be mashed up with a fork but another friend says her cat prefers it to not be mashed up. Not all the flavors in the variety pack are a hit with my cats -- the one with liver just gets set aside to go to the shelter -- but they do like most of it and I like contributing to the shelter so it's a win for us. If it's in your budget to do so, might be worth getting this pack to see what flavors your cats DO like and then buy those flavors in a separate box. These flavors differ from the Cats in the Kitchen series, which to me uses more of the dark tuna that can be found in the BFF series; my cats don't like that dark tuna and are less interested in the Cats in the Kitchen pates. Long story short? Cats are picky, finicky critters but Weruva is a quality food brand so, for me, it is worth the experiment to find something they like to eat that is also nutritious for them. … more

    Cats eat it, I'm not so sure

    The cats eat this but it's very odd. This food has the consistency of flan - jello/pudding like but all in one piece like flan. It's unlike other pate in that you can't really crush it or mix things into it. Since the consistency is so weird and artificial feeling, I can't imagine feeding this to my The cats eat this but it's very odd.
