  • Rubber too soft

I love the design of this and so did my dog. But unfortunately my lab is a power chewer and after the first time he ate out of this it was cracked. I filled it with wet and dry food 1 more time and froze it (was not frozen the first time) and then had to throw it away because he chewed big chunks of the top off. Great feeder, but does not withstand power chewers like a red kong. I would compare this to a kong quest toy which my dog also destroys after 1 use.

from the moment that the chewy box was opened, Lucy stuck her nose in and grabbed her new toy----she carried it around and played with it for hours until she discovered her additional toys....super product and it is made in the USA !

  • Okay, not great

I really liked the concept of this and I can still use it to freeze treats for my pup. Unfortunately, after about 10 minutes on the first day, she took a chunk out of the top rim. Thought it would be a bit more durable. She loves to nibble at it and carry it around after she’s done eating the frozen food in it. But now she isn’t allowed to have it after her treat is gone, because I worry it will continue to break more. Maybe we got a defective one, not sure. The other reviews led me to believe it would last a bit longer for our 45lb Australian Cattle/Lab mix. Just wanted to share.

  • LOVE THESE!!!

I have had 3 of these for years now. They are really tough to hold up to strong chewers. You put treats inside, like I would use some kibble, on top of that I would press in a piece of banana, some apples diced and on top peanut butter. And then I freeze it and they LOOOOVE it! I have 3 dogs, 2 very strong chewers and 1 is an 11 year old Lab. Whats great for her is that she licks the treat and although not chewing it, she gets a lot of pleasure from it. I highly recommend them! They last forever!!

  • Confusing toy

    By on

I have always thought of myself as fairly intelligent, but I couldn't figure out how this is supposed to work. There was nothing to keep the treats from falling out of the top/center of the toy. On top of that, our dog chewed off the rim of the toy when we decided to just use it as a throw toy. A waste of money.

  • Ehhh, not impressed nor are my dogs.

    By on Top 250 Contributor

Not impressed with this as treats fall right out reguardless of what kind you put in and huge opening so if you stuff things in there and freeze, it's gone FAST..making this interactive toy pretty useless..truly not worth the money. There are MUCH better other options out there. Neither dog even wants to "play" with it as a toy either...

  • My Doggie Loves It!

I put dog biscuits inside the grooves at the bottom of this toy so that the treats last longer and it stimulates my dog to figure it out. You can also put peanut butter or any other treat in it. Easy to clean! My dog likes to chew on it after the treat is gone.

  • My Bernese Mountain Dogs love these!

This food toy is wonderful! I plug the side hole with peanut butter, then fill it with their dry dog food and top it off with nonfat yogurt. Throw it in the freezer for a few hours. Nice treat on a hot day or as a treat while the family has popcorn during a movie! They love it!

  • Awesome distraction

    By on

My 7 yo Weimaraner has been going to physical therapy for the last 4 months. They whip this toy out with frozen baby food or canned dog food and it entertains him the entire time he has to sit still for acupuncture. The acupuncture is uncomfortable for him at first because we're treating his injury aggressively, so having a distraction is so much better than just trying to talk him through it. We bought 4 of them to use at home to help with his separation anxiety when I leave as well. I can watch him on the nanny cam and he is in love with it for at least an hour until the food is all gone. The fact that it's easier to clean than a Kong is a huge plus for me.
