No toy is indestructible. Supervise your pet when using since small parts can present a choking hazard or internal blockage. Discontinue use if the toy is damaged. Keep out of reach of children.
My boy loves it! Pretty pricy but has lasted days now. He takes the stuffing and squeaker out of others pretty quick. That’s one has no stuffing so that is a plus and the squeaker is still in it. Ha!
This lasted less than 10 minutes with our black lab puppy. Obviously, not a toy for a 'tough chewer.' I expect a toy from West Paw that costs close to $25 to last much longer than this. I have repaired it (kinda of), so hope to get another 10 minutes worth of play from it.
Our pit bull, Burt Macklin FBI, laughs at 'tough chewer' packaging and finds firehose material chew toys adorable. He wrecks everything in under five minutes. The question then becomes, which toys survive anyway? Which ones make it through the initial squeak-ectomy and live to become beloved, slobbery-gross snuggle buddies? THIS ONE. The material stays strong, even with multiple tears chewed through it, and the toy itself stayed whole enough to still get thrown around as a fetch toy and tugged on for the 90 seconds before he coats it in drool. The picture I'm attaching is from this morning, over a year after we bought it, and I'm logging on to order another. (We also bought another toy from this line almost as long ago; it's still around here somewhere, in similar bad-great shape.) Highly, highly recommend.
Our pup loved taking a green squeaky West Paw toy out of the delivery box, however we soon had to pull long green 'hairs' out of her mouth. I brushed the toy out well, hoping that would fix it but it did not. She chewed the long hairs and her mouth was full of green stuff within a minute or two. We removed the toy and will not be able to use it. She was really sad. It was a gift from her Uncle Chris. Delivery from Chewy was of course great, other than this small toy came in box much larger than need be, environmentally.
