Our Doberman, Max, is a powerful chewer and the only toys we can get him have to be as hard as a rock....except the Qwizl Tough Treat Dispensing Dog Chew Toy. We bought one many years ago and he kinda inherited it and it became his favorite toy. He carries it everywhere. After awhile, it even started to wear down and he was getting pieces off it. I looked for another exact toy but couldn't remember where I got the first one. So, I checked Chewy and there it was. Now Max is a happy dog because he has his favorite toy again! Thank you, Chewy!
Our dog is a Cane Corso/Neapolitan mix (125 lb) so you can imagine how easily he chews through most toys. This is his FAVORITE toy by a wide margin. If you buy the large size, the tiny-dog size Busy Bone is just the right size to fit inside (https://www.chewy.com/busy-bone-real-meat-tiny-dog-treats/dp/138054). You can put one or two in. This toy does not last forever with our dog but it'll go for a good month or two of daily use which is a couple of months longer than anything else.
Decided I’d splurge on a nicer toy to help chews last longer but my girl chewed a chunk of the rubber out within the first 5 mins. I expected much better for the price :(
This is the best toy/treat feeder that $ can buy. Typically our boy destroys toys and chews my treats in 20 minutes or less, this last!
I enjoy using this as a bully stick (or anything similar) holder and it works pretty well. My complaint is that it is really only a one size fits one and there are not many types of treats that can be put in here, if they are too big you can barely get them in and my dog absolutely cannot get them out, if they are too small they obviously just fall straight out. But, when you have something that fits nicely, it is a great toy
All the West Paw toys I've bought have been really great chew toys. Maddie can chew on them for days and not break down their integrity. If I put a bully stick in this one, I still have to watch her towards the end, because she can extract it, even when I can't!
Qwizl is a good toy for Tuff chewers. I usually stuff it with a jerky stick and the dogs can try and get the jerky out. I have used the small for dogs 40 lbs or less and the large size for over 40 lbs. it holds up better than other West Paws chew toys.
This toy is great. My dog is obsessed with it. It is definitely keeping him busy and holding up to his rough chewing. I thought the treat sticks wouldn’t last very long and he would end up bored with it pretty quickly. But since he can’t get them out of the middle of the toy, it really keeps him busy!
The toy lasted all of 10 minutes before he took a chunk out of it.
We got the small to hold normal thickness bully sticks. My puppy seems to always get more interested in the bully stick if its in the Qwizl.
