Pup had it for maybe 10 minutes if that and a chunk was broken off already.
My 8 pound 10 month old puppy chewed a piece off in less than 10 minutes. I was keeping an eye on her thank goodness. I heard a noice and she broke a piece off and swallowed it. I have another product from Westpaw which my pup has not chewed through. I am disappointed in the quality of this toy. I would not recommend it.
Blue Man as we call it, is the best and longest lasting toy we ever bought for our Beagle/Dachshund mix. The first Blue Man is 8 years old ! - finally Lucy chewed one leg off. The second Blue Man is approx. 3 years old and in tact. Lucy is a HUGE chewer, even at 8 years old. Highly recommend!
Yeah this thing is bizarre looking but it keeps my boy entertained. I only put solid treats in it (not peanut butter) because I don't want to deal with the mess, but I've found the right treats to fit in it. Pro tip: pull the legs apart to get larger-size treats in. He's figured out exactly how to manipulate it to get the treats to drop out, but if I put a slightly larger treat in, it will keep him occupied for days. He's not a super-destructive chewer so it's held up great in that respect.
My boxers love this so much!! Just got it so we will see if it hold up haha
I do not understand why my 6-month-old is so OBSESSED with this toy! Maybe it’s just puberty, but he adores this one! He doesn’t care much about chewing rubber toys, although his preferred rubber is definitely Zogoflex. I bought it for fetching and chasing, because the shape makes for endless unpredictability, which he loves. However, within seconds of bringing it home, he was chewing on it, carrying it around, and pawing at it! We unexpectedly use it most for a treat dispenser (the Plato Real Strips fit perfectly in The Crotch, although his determination to lick out the last bits is rated M for Mature Audiences Only)
I'm not sure if the one I received was a dud as I've purchased other West Paw products and they are great. My dog bit one of the nubs right off of this product. He wasn't left alone with it. It was being used as a "reward" toy during OB training. It was never in his mouth for more than 1 minute.
We bought the products from West Paw at Christmas and then once again for different shapes. The best toy for our Labradoodle who will chew on anything. Will purchase again if needed but really think it will be some time before he is able to destroy.
I have a small one and for some reason my Boston loves to play with it. Perfect size for her to carry and run around with. So my bigger 50lb dog chases her and also loves it. The small one hasn’t broken in the last year like some others say about the big one. The Stella and chewy “wieners” fit perfectly inside it and will give my Boston a nice 15-20 minutes eating it. The shape is a bit... suggestive.
Ryder was chewing off pieces of this like bubble gum in 30 seconds. This is too soft for a dog that chews as part of playing.
