I bought this for my rabbits, and they do not care for it, and I can understand why. You put treats in it and they have a hard time unless the opening is all the way open and then all the treats fall out so they find it boring and have dismissed it
I got this for my very small dog as an alternative to a Kong Wobbler. Unfortunately, there is a lip around the edge of the opening that prevents the food from coming out, so she wasn't able to get all the pieces. It's also hard to clean. Its a good start but there are some changes to the design needed to make it pracrical.
I love giving my buns their evening pellets serving using enrichment toys and this is a good one. There is always about 3-4 pieces leftover in it that they give up on but it’s been great for making them work for them.
We give our bunny his daily pellet allocation in this toy. It's great for stimulation and exercise as he has to work for his treats. He really seems to enjoy pushing the ball all over the house.
My holland lop loves this ball and knows how to get his strawberry treats from it.
I use this as a puzzle feeder for my rabbit's grain. It works well for this purpose, however I think it is one of my rabbits less favorite feeders.
I put dry Papaya treats in this ball and my rabbit will push it around the room until it is empty. BY FAR her favorite toy!
I have four guinea pigs, with four different personalities. I tried every treat I could think of to put inside this toy,and none of them even remotely showed interest. It's probably better used with cats or small dogs
This treat ball is super cute, especially for bunnies or other small pets. Unfortunately, there's a sort of barrier wall around the hole that prevents all of the food or treats from falling out. My bunny became frustrated with it & ignores it now. We will go back to the kitty treat ball we've used in the past.
I recently got this in a Guinea pig subscription box. I honestly thought they were going to ignore this but I have it a try. My 2 Guinea pigs roll the ball around all day everyday. I’m surprised they learned the concept of it so quickly. It definitely keeps them busy
