what size is appropriate for an 8# dog?

The X-Small are 2.7 inches long and work well for a pup weighing 5 to 15 pounds. The Small are 3.5 inches long and work well for a pup weighing 15 to 25 pounds. The Medium are 4.3 inches long and work well for a pup weighing 25 to 40 pounds. The Large are 5.9 inches long and work well for a pup weighing 40 to 60 pounds.
Reading the ingredients I see 'annatto extract color'. Now I know this a red plant typically for making red food coloring. Would this be the same as Red 40 dye found in most foods and treats with colored bits?

A long with the question about the yeast....is alfalfa extract considered a grain?

These Treats are grain free. The alfalfa extract is not considered a grain.
My dog recently was tested for food allergies and brewers yeast is on the list. Yeast is listed in your ingredients. Is it brewers or does is not make a difference as far as allergies go?

Regular yeast is used in Whimzees. These dental treats would not be suitable for your dog with a yeast allergy.
