  • Good but sticks to sides of can

    By on

My two 3-1/2 month old kittens seem to like it. I bought it to transition them from a more expensive similar quality kitten food that they love which is made for kittens up to 4 months old. Whole Earth Farms Kitten food is good nutrition-wise. I don’t know why it sticks to the lid and sides of the can, but it’s a little annoying. Tried to order it again since they liked it (despite this annoyance), but it was out of stock with every distributor, not only on Chewy, so I moved to another food. I want to be sure I can keep them on the same food while they are babies at least. Good wet kitten food if you can find it.

  • My Kitty Is Usually Adventurous With Food, Not With This

    By on

It had a slight cardboard smell to it? Didn't really smell like food to me. My kitten has grown up with a variety of wet foods and loves everything I put in front of her. However this food she turned her nose up to. Out of hunger she would eat half a serving, but leave the rest untouched. Maybe some kitties like it, but my kitten seriously eats everything from pita bread to arugula and all kinds of food, and didn't like this.

  • It's a hit!

I chose this for my feisty, fast-growing 5-month old kitten. He loves it! In fact, he inhales it. I am allowing my 12-year old cat small portions, as he too finds it very palatable. And I like that this food contains no byproduct meals and no grains. I like that's it's made in the US. The pricing was inline with other websites, in fact it was a bit lower. The shipping is super fast. I think I can skip pet food runs to pet stores now that I've found chewy.com.

  • Good, but now unavailable

    By on

I feed this food to my foster kittens and my 7 month old. I’m so upset that it’s now not available anywhere. I hope they aren’t discontinuing it or messing with the formula. It’s one of the only truly healthy affordable kitten foods on the market that they’ll actually eat. Now I have to find a new food and pray they’ll switch without too much fuss.

  • It's a hit!

This food was a big hit with my kittens. I tried another brand of kitten food and it made their poop so stinky. They loved this and I don't dread the litter boxes every night

  • My kittens love it

They would really eat anything right now, but they've been doing really well since we switched them from Royal Canine to Whole Earth. :) Definitely more budget-friendly and still healthy for them!

  • Kitten loves it and is healthy

    By on

My kitten loves this food. She eats it up every evening when I give it to her. I like that it's grain free and there are no "meat by-products" in it. I feel like it's a pretty healthy food and I pair it with the science diet kitten dry food during the day. This is a good price for a healthy wet cat food. Only caution, check the expiration date on the bottom of the cans. I had a shipment that was expired and I plan to e-mail Chewy and see if they will credit me or send another batch. Other batches I ordered didn't expire for like 2 years, so it must have been a box that was sitting a while.

  • Kitten LOVES This Food

My kitten scarfs this food down! He is 11 weeks old and has been eating Whole Earth Farms kitten food for 6 weeks and loves it! He is healthy, strong, and agile because he is getting all natural ingredients without grains that cats should never get! This food smells good, like real fresh meat, and not like cat McDonalds like so many cheap cats foods out there. Also, his coat feels and looks healthy. I highly recommend this canned food!

  • Good For My Foster Kittens

I don't like feeding the usual low quality food my shelter provides for my foster kittens so I buy my own food for them. Now, I get litters of 4-6 and sometimes I double up on litters. Currently, I am fostering 10 kittens. The best food I could find for them was this Whole Earth Farms kitten food. The price is great on auto ship and the kittens love it. They don't get diarrhea from it and their poops don't smell awful. They're also thriving. My only complaint is about consistency. No two packages are the same. Some have a lot of gel/fat pockets, some have a lot of green/gray/black dots, some are dry, some are more moist, etc. They do all have a gross skin at the bottom which I peel I don't like feeding the usual low quality food my shelter provides for my foster kittens so I buy my own food for them. • Excellent Choice

    By on Top 250 Contributor

We have an 18 year old cat who has an intestinal issue that makes it hard for him to keep weight on. We have been looking for a good quality food with plenty of calories that he will eat enthusiastically, and we found it in this product. The ingredients are wholesome and the flavor appealing (at least to our cat). I recommend you try it!
