What is the size of the dog food

I've been feeding this to my 2 dogs since it originally came out. The nuggets used to be what I would call "medium dog sized", but recently they have decreased the size to small dog nuggets. Good for small dog owners but not my favorite for my 2. I wish they would go back to the medium, or even a larger sized nugget option.

No Chicken Kibble

My Shih Tzu cannot tolerate chicken products and this is the one reasonable priced kibble he can eat. Although a little more expensive in the small package size, I buy it rather that the larger bags because it doesn't get so stale for a small dog.

Great dog food

Whole Earth Farms carries the best grain free dog food. I have this food two dogs this food. They love it and delivery is within a few days of the order being placed. Chewy is an awesome company and truly cares about your pet(s). I have never bought from such an awesome company!! I highly recommend them and the dog food.

Yucky breath

We’ve used this food for our pups for over 2 years. About 6 to 8 months ago, the kibble changed in size and at first we thought it was a shipping mistake. Chewy sent us a fresh bag and the kibble was still different from earlier shipments. Our dogs happily ate it, but over the past several months, our dogs had horrible breath. After brushing their teeth, adding supplements to their water, taking them for dental hygiene vet visits, and giving them chew treats that should help with breath, I put two and two together and realized it was the food that was causing their bad breath. We tried a different brand and within 10 days their breath was better.

Excellent for sensitive stomachs

My Standard Poodle developed a sensitivity to dog foods with certain preservatives, I had to cook homemade food until I discovered Whole Earth brand. She's eating it with no problems and loves it.

Somewhat Surprised

We are somewhat surprised that our 2 small dogs haven't jumped on this food. Whole Earth is a top of the line dog food with wholesome ingredients and reputation. We are wondering if extreme heat this summer is causing their standoffish attitudes to this food selection.

What is up with the size of the kibbles????

Just opened a new bag from a recent order and discovered the size of the kibbles are way smaller than previous orders. I've been purchasing this brand for my dog for many years now. Why did Whole Earth change the size of the kibble? They are so small now that my dog is swallowing them hole instead of crunching and chewing them like he use to. I'm so afraid that he'll choke if too many of these tiny kibbles get stuck in his throat. I will have to switch from this brand to something else.

Good value, but inconsistent kibble size

Once our dogs choose a food they enjoy, the local big box pet store ceases to carry it. I've convinced my s.o. to use Chewy auto ship, saving time & money & supports a company I enjoy. There have been inconsistencies in the kibble size between bags- 2 identical bags off the shelf at the same time, one has small kibble, one has big kibble, neither bag is labeled for "puppy". Merrick cannot answer why, just asked what size bag we normally buy, & graciously sent 3 coupons for the wrong size bag of food that isn't available locally.

Love the smaller kibble!

Once the kibble was changed to smaller pieces my Shiztsu loved it! The bigger pieces must have hurt her little teeth so please keep the smaller bites and thank you!
