Dogs liked it but...
By DBarth on Feb 24, 2021
Both my picky German Shepherd and my German Shepherd/Malinois mix who is the definition of a Maligator (i.e. will eat anything including floors and walls) loved this. Since it was a small bag, I used it as treats during some of our training sessions. My concerns about switching them to this food would be the calorie content (both my girls put on weight easily) and the lack of anything for joint support for large breeds. I know it’s not necessary, but it’s nice to have. I like the addition of probiotics and taurine since grain-free products can leave dogs with a taurine deficiency, but I prefer to feed my dogs something more suited to their individual needs. Whole Earth Farms
By 10outof10 on Feb 15, 2021
When I say my dog LOVED this dog food I mean she LOVED this dog food! she could barely wait for me to get it out of the box to open it. She loved the smell, the flavor and everything about this food. I will definitely purchase again and recommend family and friends!

Five stars for the food, less for Chewy shipping...
By BugWylie on Oct 21, 2020
The food is great. The three dogs love it. My problem is that the bags of food have arrived with holes in them more than once. If I came across a bag with a hole in it in the store, I would likely pass it by and not buy it. Apparently, Chewy doesn't seem to care one way or the other. So the food, I would recommend, the shipping - nice to get it direct to my door, but damaged product is never acceptable. If it happened just once I could pass it off. But this has happened multiple times. It seems to be a recurring pattern.

Whole Earth Farms dry kibble
By Vonnie on Jan 9, 2021
Luna seems to really like it. Bella is actually on a special “Keto” for dogs diet, as she needs to lose weight for a blown ACL surgery. :(

Kibble size got smaller..a lot smaller!
By 2qik2see on Sep 30, 2020
I have a 4 year old lab and she absolutely loves Whole Earth Farms Grain-Free Pork, Beef & Lamb Recipe Dry Dog Food until the kibble size changed. She won’t hardly touch it now. The kibble size is too small and she’s actually choked on the small kibble. Why on earth would you change something that ain’t broke?? Please Please bring back the large breed sized kibble! I hate to change up her food but I may not have a choice. If she won’t hardly eat it and when she eats a little bit of it, she chokes. I can’t risk anything happening to my girl.

Concerned with Grain Free
By Malk on Sep 20, 2020
I have been feeding this to our dog for a while but recently discovered research indicating links between dilated cardiomyopathy in dogs and grain free foods. The FDA is still investigating and there isn’t anything definitive yet from what I understand. The research shows potatoes, peas and legumes as potentially linked to DCM. The second ingredient in this food is potatoes and the third ingredient is peas so I am going to switch to something else just in case. Otherwise our dog seemed happy with the food. His coat looks nice and he eats it with a little meat topper.

No complaints.
By Chris on Oct 16, 2020
We really liked this food. I think the formula changed recently the pieces are smaller. We just switched to another brand but only because we wanted to get more food for the money we were spending. With two German Shepard's we were going through one bag every week and a half / two weeks.

Ugh! REALLY?!
By Magic on Sep 6, 2020
So, my 12 year old pitt has to eat grain free due to ear infections in gained diets. I was buying a Costco generic grain free. The price was AMAZING and he enjoyed it. I work second into third now and with COVID hours it was hard to get into stores. I also purchase for my elderly FIL as his dog has same issue, and I don't want him in stores any more than need be. When I started buying this brand, his dog ate it (he us a picky pitt), mine ate it too (LESS picky). All was great in the world, then the price DOUBLED! When contacting Chewy their answer is, oh prices fluctuate. FLUCTUATE?! This is COVID ROBBERY!

Fine, but I have to switch
By Cherrypie on Oct 2, 2020
I switched to this after using the puppy formula when I first brought my dog home. He definitely likes this flavor better, but I’m switching because the protein:fat percentage is 26:17. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my dog have a truly solid poop on this dog food. Time to go. I’m switching to a different brand that has 30:16, and is moderately cheaper.

Changed kibble size
By Never on Sep 19, 2020
We have used this product for over 5 years. About 6 months ago the size of the kibble went from the size of a quarter to smaller than the cat food. Out 9 yr old dog stopped chewing which led to expensive and painful dental issues. Not to mention the serious supply issues at that time. You would had expected items that had been on auto delivery for years to get priority, that obviously is not the way Chewy operates.
