Cats don’t chew morsels.only lick gravy

    By on

The first time I bought this brand of cat food they loved it but it was the pate version. Apparently my cats are just lickers. The morsels get pushed over the edge of the plate. But I decided to throw it into a food processor and make gravy. Now they clean their plates. The reason for four stars is because of the morsels.

    Cats love this

    By on

All three of my cats love this, but I do prefer the pate which has not been available for quite a while. This is an affordable cat food that is not full of bad ingredients. I would recommend.

    Watery Cans

    By on

I've been buying this consistently on the autoship program for months now. At first the cans were meaty with some liquid, then a couple liquid cans with very little morsels. Now this whole case I received is all water! I have gone through half of a case already and each can I open is water. Very disappointed in the manufacturers lack of consistency with this product. Chewy says this can happen and they are right but not a whole case! Waste of money.

    Some possible quality control issues

    By on

We have been using this product nearly a year now. This one along with the Salmon pate variety comprise our cats' morning and evening dining routines. Overall we are pleased with the product, but lately it seems at least one or more than one can in the case is all or nearly all gravy. Hoping Whole Earth Farms can try to improve this in the future.

    Good food for your kitty

    By on

I needed to switch foods because my dog was getting into the cat food, who has a lot of food allergies. I chose this food because it is grain free. Since changing foods, my cat is eating less (1 can a day vs 2 cans a day) yet still not losing weight, her fur is regaining it's sheen, and she is becoming more energetic again. Apparently she was developing issues on her old food that we were just taking to be related to old age as she is 16 years old this year. Plus, she isn't as finicky as she was with the other food. Good choice for any cat in my opinion.

    Inconsistent

    By on

I try to cycle/rotate flavors, and my cats have loved/enjoyed/liked all of them so far; however, one of my biggest peeves: liquid cans. I let it go the 1st few times, but now it seems in every order, I get 2-3+ cans that are just juice/gravy. I know it is going to happen, but I feel that it shouldn't as frequently for the price (especially if you consider the price per can).

    My cat will not eat

    By on

After a great experience with this brands canned dog food, I opted to try it for my cats (8 mos, 3'years, 13 years). NONE of them will eat it!! Also, when left on dish all day, or overnight, it smells like something died in my house! Will not buy again. Bought 2 cases, one of this flavor, and one salmon flavored.

    Great product made in USA

    By on

My cat loves Whole Earth Farms foods. She licks her plate clean every time. I love it because it is made in USA with wholesome ingredients. The morsels are in a light gravy so there are more morsels than gravy. Other national brands cans are filled halfway or more with gravy which my vet says is very high in calories and has no nutritional value. With WEF, cats get the meat and protein they need as well as a taste for the gravy they love. Kudos for a great product!

Transition has been hard, but my cats are finiky

    By on

I like what I've read about this company and my vet likes them too. My cats have been on Friskies wet and dry food for 12 years so the transition has been painful but we're almost to only this as their diet.
