Some Cans Are All Gravy, Few Morsels

    By on

I'm definitely a fan of Whole Earth Farms food as a less expensive counterpart to brands like Wellness or Merrick, but this particular flavor, like Catman mentioned in his review back in October, has a few too many cans in the batch of 24 that are, like, 85% gravy and barely 15% morsels, which sucks when you have hungry kitties like my Cheddy and Colby-Jack. Won't be buying this flavor again, but seriously, Whole Earth Farms, you gotta check the quality control on the Chicken & Turkey flavor.

    Small Cans

    By on

SO-SO, my cats are not crazy for this chunky morsels food, not enough gravy and I was really surprised to receive them in the smaller cans for the same price as the large ones. Don't think I will be reordering this style.

    Poor quality control- manufacturer

    By on

About every three to five cans in a case have only about 10-20 morsels or less and a can full of gravy. I've poured out two cans that had no morsels at all. Seems the same across three flavors I've tried. I can't feed my cat just gravy, so this is no bargain, even though she seems to like the food when there's actually food in it.

    High-Protein Food on a Budget

    By on

It's okay quality for high-protein cat food. This brand works if you are on a budget and don't want all those extras added to your cats diet. Though it would not be my first choice, if I am in a jam financially I would get it.

    Very good overall

    By on

The product looks good and the ingredients seem wholesome. It has a good balance of solid/liquid. Two of my three cats like it, the third refuses to eat it after a few days. Unless you have a finicky eater at home, I would recommend it.

    Unhappy cat

    By on

My 15 yr old cat seemed to like this at first, now all he does is lick the gravy off and I toss the rest..on to different stuff. He's not that picky of an Easter either. This has no bearing on Chewy.com just saying.

Kitties really like it. The ingredients are good and it's a good value at 24 cans for the price.

    Disappointed

    By on

My kids (cats) usually are not too picky about their food. They would not touch this stuff. I gave it all to the animal shelter.

    Good Food Heavy Cans

    By on

This is a good food, not the typical canned wet food from Merrick. It’s less expensive too. My only issue is that the can is heavy duty, so you may get less food.
