Freeze-Dried Superfoods

Freeze-Dried Superfoods

LifeBites freeze-dried cat food is made with real, whole foods sourced in the USA. Each recipe starts with duck breast, chicken breast or wild salmon that's blended with superfoods like cranberries, sweet potatoes and pumpkin. Greek yogurt is added to supply live, active probiotic cultures for better digestion. Because these fresh ingredients are freeze-dried, the final result is a food with intense flavor that maintains its nutritional value. It's made without grains or glutens, and it doesn't need additives or preservatives.

Single-Ingredient Treats

Whole Life Originals are packed with protein from a single meat or fish ingredient. These freeze-dried bites of pure chicken breast, turkey breast, wild salmon, wild cod or beef liver are naturally delicious and extremely popular with the feline crowd. They're low in calories, big on flavor and great for pets with allergies or food sensitivities or those that are prone to weight gain.

    Yummy in his tummy!

By Jess on Nov 10, 2021

Our cat Bambam has allergies, which is why we have to be careful about what we feed him. We love these treats because they are just one ingredient without any stuff that could cause our cat to itch. He goes absolutely nuts for these treats and we can feed them to him with a good conscience.

Cats love, but 1/4 of each bag are inedible gristle

By SuAn on Aug 26, 2021

My 3 cats all love these, but about 1/4 of the treats in each bag are rock-hard and they throw those back up if they manage to swallow them in the first place. I soaked several of the hard ones in water, and to my surprise they turned out to be just rubbery gristle and not edible meat. I then tried to grind up a couple of the hard ones with a mortar and pestle, but they were too rock hard to grind. So now I break up each piece into little pieces and (unavoidably) some powder before I give them to the cats. I break them over a bowl, and then save the powder in an empty bag to sprinkle on top of their wet cat food. I use a table knife to scrape whatever powder I can from the hard gristle ones My 3 cats all love these, but about 1/4 of the treats in each bag are rock-hard and they throw those back up if they manage to swallow them in the first place. Nice idea, but didn't work

By Rejected on Jul 24, 2021

Nice and dry to keep well and reject mold, but it isn't organic nor guaranteed as pristine as the salmon version and more importantly it was rejected by the cats and the dog (she ate it, but not her favorite and not good for her non-organic)

    Healthy Treats

By Istin on Jun 17, 2021

My cats love these. If they are reluctant to eat their “ real” food, I crush these and sprinkle them on top. Instant success. Best of all, these treats are high quality and high protein

The one star I gave this product goes along with the one ingredient

By Carly on Mar 19, 2021

I have three cats that are all on a journey for healthier eating so I’ve been looking for natural, raw and one ingredient foods for treats as well as feeding. This one I thought would be awesome treats because it was nothing in it but the ingredient it stated however it smelled so bad for me I wasn’t sure if the cats would eat it and I can guarantee you they would not. I even waited till just before dinner time to try a second time when I knew they were hungry and I put a piece down for them and they wouldn’t even go near it. Not at all what I expected or hoped for.

    the BEST treat

By glimmer on Mar 21, 2021

My kitten goes nuts for these—you can hear her purr as she scarfs them down. I love knowing I'm feeding her just meat, and no fillers. The pieces are easy to break apart, so you can get lots of treats from one larger chunk. They do make a bit of "dust" when you break them apart, but Adora doesn't mind helping me clean the mess up. I also made it work in our favor by using the dust to coat her antibiotic syringe. It made getting her to take the medicine so much easier.

    Rancid, cats wouldn't eat

    By Mikey4ever on Feb 2, 2021

I've used this product before and the cats usually like it, I crumble a few pieces over their wet food. The product I ordered, however, smelled rancid and the cats wouldn't eat it. I've had this issue before with another freeze dried turkey breast manufacturer, the product also was rancid. Maybe turkey doesn't have a high turnover, not sure, but I'll just stick with the chicken.

    Whoa, nearly lost my fingers!

By LVCatMom on Jan 7, 2021

Both cats were reaching for the bag before I had a chance to open it! I mainly bought it for my older Pixie Bob who had his teeth extracted and needed a soft treat. He loved it on its own and sprinkled on the new RX food he's being introduced to. The more discerning (read: picky beyond belief) Siamese, scarfed his down and licked up any crumbs his brother left behind.

    Holly loves 'em

    By CatMom on Jan 2, 2021 top1000Contributor

Freeze-dried turkey breast. Just goes to show that food should not be messed about with for cats. She takes a bit chunk in her mouth and crunches it. She's a picky girl but this she will take any time. She drinks plenty of water so I'm not concerned. They are given to her as treats - not a meal.
