With added vitamins and minerals to support lifecycle health, Wild Calling is a grain-free rotational diet cats can really sink their teeth into.

    They love it again

    By on

    A few years back our cats stopped eating this food in favor of other Wild Calling rotation varieties. Wild Calling was purchased by Barkstrong/Zoic and most of the canned foods just started becoming available again. We bought a case and were pleasantly surprised that everyone eats this again. Slightly more moist and a different coloration than we recall. Wild Calling used to can at Simmons Pet Food and they transitioned to American Nutrition (based out of Ogden, Utah). So far, so good.

    Resolved IBD in our cat Sparkle

    By on

    Our cat Sparkle was leaving small spots of blood around the house from her bowels and was vomiting more than the usual hair ball. The Vet examined her and diagnosed her with IBD. I immediately started to read why she got IBD and how we could treat her nutritionally at home. I read that she would need us to put her on a protein that she had never had before until her gut healed. I chose Wild Calling Rabbit because it was the only cat food that had the most simple ingredients with a quality protein sourced from the United States. I also gave her a food enzyme to help with digestion. Within just a few weeks, she started feeling much better. Went from her lowest weight of 8lbs to now, 13lbs. good food and healthy

    My cat liked this food. She was so finicky but ate this. Unfortunately since I bought it, I had to say goodbye to my precious girl but would definitely buy again if I get another cat. Thank you Chewy for all your good items.

    Our boy's favorite

    By on

    Our Bengal cat loves this the best. We feed him raw nuggets and alternate 2 different brands of wet food, dry food only for treats/snacks. We went through a period of time when it was hard to find Turkey & Chicken Wild Calling cans, those were very sad times for our boy! We are so excited it's back on the market & he literally licks the plate every single time, considering he is very particular about his food choices!

    Cat loves it, I love the ingredients

    My cat enjoys this food and all flavors by this brand (except alligator). Ive fed this brand for years now and am very happy with it. This is a nice firm pate thats easy to slice into bit sizes.

    They didn't like it. :{

    I have three picky eaters. Not one of them would even taste it. It looked good and I was really hoping that from the reviews I read, they would like it. I will be donating it to a local shelter and trying something else. Ugh.

    Popular with my herd of cats

    By on

    I have too many cats with way too many specific requirements. Finding the right food is difficult. One of my cats is allergic to fish--even the fish oil used in so many cat foods. Two other cats are allergic to peas which are included in so many of the new grain free foods. Once I eliminate those two ingredients, the few remaining brands often have a pretty crumby list of ingredients. Then there is the problem of getting the cats to eat the few foods that are acceptable. This food has made the extremely short list of foods that meet my requirements and also has good ingredients And my cats LOVE it. I'm talking a VERY short list!!! Wild Calling Cabin Fever, Trot'n Tommy, and Inland Waters are the ONLY wet food our 17-year-old cat, Jody, will eat! And they are grain free! We are so glad to have found Chewy.com! Thank you!
