    96% Duck and Liver!!

    By on

What caught my eye was the 96% duck and liver content. No sweet potatoes, cranberries, fruits and vegetables!! First impression was great, it smelled wonderful and my cats devoured it all! I only bought the duck because it's our first time trying this company, but so far 20/20 by my cats!

Not a hit with my cats

    By on Top 50 Contributor

I've been looking for a new brand of food that has duck flavor for my cats since I can't get my previous brand anymore. I like to rotate proteins and/or brands. 3 of my 7 cats wouldn't eat this food. The other 4 only picked at it. I threw more away than they ate. I wouldn't buy it again.

    Paws up from the cats

    By on Top 100 Contributor

I purchased this food when my cats' usual duck flavored food was out of stock and I'm glad I was able to introduce a new brand into their rotation. One of my cats can be picky but she didn't hesitate to dive in once I set her dish in front of her, it was almost as if she didn't even realize it wasn't her "usual" duck! Will definitely purchase again in the future.

    Rotation staple

    By on

I'm so glad Wild Calling is back in business and stocked on Chewy! My 2 cats have been eating this food for several years and it's a staple in their rotation. I feed several other Wild Calling flavors, but turkey and duck are their favorite. I rotate 4-5 foods at any given time for my girls. LOVE! -1 star because I can never be too sure about the gums in canned food, but this recipe is definitely one of the best I can find in wet food without going raw.

All three of my fussy eaters like this food. I stocked up on a few cases while it was on sale. Everyone's got glossy coats and healthy bm's.

    It's The Best !

    By on Top 500 Contributor

Well, that says it all, huh! Wild Calling is quality plus ingredients (and the company itself is, also). It is a soft pate. I mix, stir, fluff all of each can of cat food when I first open one up, using a tiny bladed soft spatula. It easily complies to the manipulation. Then, if it is supplement time, I add to the can and mix and then dish out the portions as is applicable. It is a very full can of food. The kitties do not turn away from it. Customarily, they do not choose the other flavored food over the duck. (I usually, give them 1/2 of one flave and 1/2 of another a few times daily.) My kitties had had the freedom of catching their food for the first couple years of their lives. Well, that says it all, huh! My kitties had had the freedom of catching their food for the first couple years of their lives. Sure, I fed them supplemental food, but did not have to pay too much attention to what I fed them. However, when we moved they had to be sequestered. My education regarding feeding kitties was very fast paced as I was a complete novice. For them, all of Wild Calling was an acquired taste. In these few years I have been through lots of brands and flavors. In trying them, again, on Wild Calling this past year, they let me know that this is definitely a preferred brand for them. I have not tried them on all of the flavors, however, Inland Waters Duck as well as the Trottin' Tommy Turkey are key flaves in their food rotation. I have one cat that covers her dish if there is any duck remaining when she is through eating. That way she will still have it to eat when she is hungry again. (We have a pride.) Possibly, due to her age, when she is looking for food after a good deep nap in the sun, we have to point it out to her. She is happy to have it. (We are trying to make certain she gets applicable supplements such as ubiquinol and krill on a regular basis, which, btw, Chewy, does, also, sell. We access Mercola brand. That's just some fyi that helps kitties and omits some vet visits. It works for our kitties.) Bottom Line, This gets ordered monthly, now. Well Worth It. … more
