Not as Good as Wagner's Brand
Ordered this to try a different food for the finches. I'm reverting back to the Wagner's brand because the finches did not like it near as much as the Wagner's brand. It sat in my feeder for several days while they picked at it, versus the Wagner's brand is finished every day.
Birds flock to the bird feeders
We love this and order 2 bags at a time. We get beautiful finches and they love the special finch food!
Crack for finches
My finches LOVE this stuff. Last year I only used nyjer and I had a gold finch couple come around for a few days, then they left. Now with this, I can't count how many finches have taken up residency near my home. I'll have 13+ on my sock feeder at all times. The 20lb last me about a month so it's expensive but jow I'm afraid to switch food because I don't want my babies to leave. I get red house finches and beautiful gold finches. I love how they come eat in couples, like they're on a date. My favorite. I've even had cardinals trying to sneak onto the socks. Love this stuff just wish it were more affordable. Now when I'm outside all I hear all around me is finch songs. They are everywhere!!
More little finches than I know what to do with!
All the little birdies love this food. Low waste with a sweet scent when you open the bag. We have 4 hanging seed feeders and a window feeder around the home and have to refill most of them every 4-6 days. All the birds go bonkers over this seed. Have even had larger Flickers and ScrubJays hang onto the feeders to get a few beaks full. Mourning doves scavenge whatever they can find on the ground and there's not enough waste to attract any squirrels.
