    Best Bird Food

    By on

The Wild Delight Zero Waste Fruit Blend seems to be a hit with all the birds at my house! I've tried several other brands, but they literally flock to my bird feeders and clean the plate with this brand. Love hearing the song birds sing happily too. I will continue purchasing this food as there is no mess left behind!

    Woodpeckers don’t like it

    By on

I bought this to cut down on the debris below the feeder. The woodpeckers love Kaylee’s fruit and nut, but they won’t come to the feeder for this. Does anyone have a recommendation to attract woodpeckers?

    Stuck together in feeder

    By on

This had lots of what looked like dried cranberries, and they stuck together in clumps at the bottom of the feeder. The same birds ate it as eat my usual zero waste mix, so I'll go back to the no-fruit version. I was hoping the woodpeckers I see and hear around might drop by, but didn't notice a difference.

    Flying Black Bugs & Worms

    By on

ZERO STARS! We received our last order in July, and I'm barely writing this review. The order included the 'Wild Delight Zero Waste Fruit Blend Wild Bird Food' and another bird food, and within 4 days of receiving the seed, our pet food closet and house was flooded with black flying bugs! We checked the pet food closet, where foods were in storage bucket. We checked the bird food, and that's when we noticed the maggots. Both bird food bags were loaded with these bugs and maggots! We had to throw away the food! And, we weren't taking a chance on our cats food, and had to throw it away, for safety. And, it took awhile to get rid of the flying bugs and the maggots they deposited. It was ZERO STARS! We received our last order in July, and I'm barely writing this review. And, it took awhile to get rid of the flying bugs and the maggots they deposited. It was disgusting! We exterminated the house. Because we had to throw away the food, it was a waste of money! I didn't call chewy.com, to see if they will reimburse us. Although, I doubt that they will! (I bought these bird foods in the past. And, we had problems with the flying bugs, and suspected the bird food but weren't sure. So, we put the seed out right away, and the bugs died down, but we still had to spray for the bugs. We thought it was a fluk. But, we now know we shouldn't have ordered the seed again!) We are ordering online from another store, and we don't have problems with the bird food. ~Thankfully! … more

Not the Best Blend for NW

    By on

I find the dried fruits left in the feeder each evening. I’m concerned that this will attract rodents- will not order this product again.
