My dogs seem to have cooled on Wellness Core so I switched for some variety. They’re not too crazy about the new food and one of them has the absolute worst poop problem. Maybe it’s the oral flea and tick which they got about the same time the food changed but regardless I changed my autoship back to Wellness. This new food might be fine but since the dogs didn’t love it and with this other problem I’m not sticking with it.
This was recommended to me by my friend. I tried the 4lbs first, and my Snoppy absolutely loved it. I sent a bag to my firend as gift, too.
I have done a ton of research on dog food. I even subscribed to a dog food rating service which rated wishbone five stars at the time. My dogs poops are very healthy, very regular and have a reduced mass. This is because there’s no junk fillers. Unless you are buying organic-based proteins, your dog is probably consuming a lot of GMO corn that are fed to cattle and chickens. In New Zealand, Lamb production is heavily regulated and grass fed. I also try to avoid corn, rice, wheat and soy in my dog’s food. These ingredients can contain heavy metals, pesticides or they are Genetically modified. Also corn has a high sugar content which may increase your dog’s activity level. My Weimaraner is eight years’ old and super Athletic at 75 lbs. She consumes 1 3/4 cups twice a day and has been on Wishbone Pasture since she was a pup. I have to feed her 2 cups or more twice a day of other dog foods.I highly recommend Wishbone pasture.
This is a staple, we always buy Wishbone for one of my dogs. The food smells very aromatic, like herb roast lamb and my dog always sniffs the bag. The kibble is thinner than other dog foods, it's easier for my furbaby to crunch. Love the papaya, mangoes, and a lot of superfoods from New Zealand. I recommend this for any furbaby who likes lamb recipe dog food.
Pasture tastes great and my meals smell so good that I have to keep my eyes on my two-legged human family to be sure they keep their paws to themselves! My sweet cousin, Bella, enjoys Pasture too!
This is a pretty expensive bag of dog food. When I received it the bag had been punctured or torn and then someone had put clear packing tape over the tear. I reached out to customer service and they flat out ignored me. So, I guess the review is more about Chewy and their terrible customer service vs the dog food.
My little pit mix loves this food. I love that the lamb is pasture raised. The bag is not resealable FYI so a container is needed to keep it fresh.
Love it....the bag in the photo shows it as cat food...I purchased the dog food & received dog food. Palatable & very yummy-smelling. Thats why I am having rack of lamb with Rosemary fronds tonight. This food smells that inspiring!
This is by far my dogs favorite food. And the one food that she isn’t allergic too.
My three little dogs love this. Its what my local pet store recommended for small dogs especially for hair and any itch problems. They went out of business so I looked for it here since I already bought treats from here.
