We bought two bottles of this spray, did the entire yard twice, I think it kept the tics down, I can honestly say my pup didn’t have any tics after we sprayed; I think it helped with the Fleas a little, it didn’t solve the problem but I believe it did help some by keeping the quantities down. As far as mosquitoes it did absolutely nothing.
But not helpful for the fleas in my yard. The possum population in my neighborhood is healthy, so ticks are not an issue. My neighbor keeps bees and I was really hoping this would be a good flea-targeting solution, bee-friendly solution. The bees do seem to be unaffected.
So far the insecticide seems to have helped to cut down on my Flea infestation with just the first application. HOWEVER THE OPERATING DIAL & THE BOTTLE CAP ARE VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO OPERATE WITH THE ARTHRITIS IN MY HANDS. I COULD NOT TURN OFF THE SPRAYER WITH THE WATER FLOWING. I HAD TO SET THE SPRAYER DOWN, GO TURN OFF THE WATER & THEN TURN THE DIAL OFF.
This does not work as advertised. About a week after treating yard, my dog still has at least 3-4 dozen mosquitos swarming him. Nozzle on bottle also broke during use.
Wish I could give this a better review, but the product never came out of the spray bottle. I hooked it up to the hose, and just ended up watering my lawn for over an hour, as the Wondercide was still at the same level in the bottle. I will now try to buy the concentrate, get my own sprayer, and mix it myself. Big thanks to Chewy.com for their customer service.
Just started to use Wondercide a month ago for outside rescue cats. It is a little early to give a complete review but have seen some Improvement. After using the Wondercide yard spray for flea and tick out cats enjoyed walking and laying down in wet grass.
It is somewhat easy to use. (Got the hang of it on the second bottle.) Smells OK. I am just not sure if it really helps keep fleas and ticks out of our yard. I have not seen any. Which is a good thing. It has a somewhat strong smell when you are spraying. But, the day after I spray I no longer smell it. So, who knows. I do like it is safe for pets. But, having to re-apply monthly is getting expensive.
Bought this product because I was having mosquito issues around my home and didn’t want to spray my lawn with harsh chemicals because of my bulldog. I was excited to find something really pet safe. Product was easy to use but only kept the mosquitos away for a day or two and then they were right back. Product also killed more than half of my lawn where it was sprayed. It severely thinned out the grass and killed half of it off permanently and has not grown back. Pretty disappointing.
I have been searching for a all natural product for years, and I found it. I have a 25 x 25 patio backed up to the woods. I applied a 3 foot high and in around the patio. we also have on one side of the patio 30 feet of landscape of flower baskets, scrub's, plants. Two hours after treatment I noticed our flowers in basket and in pots were all dried up and dead. I looked back on the website to see if I did something wrong. I reread that it would not harm plants, flowers and all other foliage. I called also to share my experience and they were so kind to reimburse me. But I would like to say that it did a GREAT job on stopping mosquitos .
I have no idea if this stuff works because getting it out of the container is nearly impossible. Turning it from off to on is extremely difficult, even for my husband who can open almost anything. Connect it to the hose and spray; as far as I could tell it was just plain water and the level in the bottle did not budge. I finally dribbled some in the areas I was concerned about, by squeezing the bottle and holding it upside down. Expensive experiment. I was already upset about all the ticks around here. This only added to my frustration.
