Everybody has different likes. I love the smell of this stuff as does everyone else in the house. This is a miracle in a bottle for Southeastern Texas brutal summers and English Bulldogs with skin allergies. Our bully was born in December in the relative cool but by May he was itching everywhere all the time. Changed diet, tried supplements, shampoo, was about to start coconut oil when this was recommended at Natural Paws. Their groomers swear by it, and it’s a miracle in a bottle. I hose him down every morning with this (takes remarkably little on a 60lb bully), neck to toes. He hardly ever scratches. Smell doesn’t get on furniture or clothes, but even if it did, we love the smell. I can understand those who are not into aromatherapy or natural oils not liking this, I get it. But if you dig the smell your bully will be thanking you. Spray it all over (except head, ears, face) and just give a little morning rub down. Your bully smells great and is itch free all day. Thank you for inventing this. Thank you Thank you Thank you
I bought this for my boy. I would not recommend. The smell is kind of gross. Also it caused a lot of drooling. It didn't seem to provide any relief.
I've been trying for months to give my pup some relief from a dry itchy backside. $650.00 at the Vet with no relief so I was grasping at straws trying to find something to help my boy. Wondercide is the only thing I've found that gives him some relief.
SMELL: It is made with NATURAL ESSENTIAL OILS. I’m not sure why everyone complained of the smell…. Probably never smelled lemongrass, lavender, or cedar oil. That’s what it smells like and those are the main ingredients! Maybe I just am used to essential oils and natural scents but I think it smells lovely, woodsy with a hint of citrus. I smell the cedar the most, maybe that’s why people are complaining, but I digress! RESULTS: Josie has seemed to immediately stopped itching and over grooming. While she wasn’t thrilled about being sprayed down on all her itchy spots, she seemed to calm down immediately. I’m praying that this helps her skin feel better!
Was disappointed in the size of the bottom for the price. It also hasn't worked at well as I hoped for. I'm going to finish product and see how she does then.
A great solution that really works to soothe dry, itchy skin and irritated hot spots. I use this in conjunction with the daily allergy tablet I give my Shih Tzu and great relief is achieved. The price was competitive and fair and I am so glad I found something that works so well for us. 5 stars!
My black lab has had super dry, flaking skin for years and I have tried a lot of remedies and nothing has worked until I got this spray. It works and he smells so pretty!!!
In short - do not buy this! My dog has allergies and itches frequently when the season changes so I'm always looking for products that can help him. I saw that this had decent reviews and thought we'd try it out. Out of everything we've tried, this is the worst yet. The smell is AWFUL. It is beyond overpowering. It stays on surfaces, even your hands after several washes. Usually my dog loves skin tonics, rubs, etc. because he knows he'll get some affection and treats. However, my dog hates this one because of the smell. He doesn't even want to get near it. If it's beyond overpowering for my nose, I can't even imagine how it is for him. Even if this product did work, the smell alone is enough for me to never buy this or recommend it again.
I have 3 pets that I put this stuff on. The smell is terrible and got all over the house from the animals. Had to stop using it. Does not seem to work at all.
This really does help with my dogs summer allergies and also winter dry itches. I spray and rub it in her tail area a couple times a day. I can tell it feels good to her, but the “problem” I have with it is the lavender and lemongrass is way too strong. If I spray the appropriate amount and it gets into the air, I nearly gag myself and I can only imagine how strong it is for the dog! Try to spray it as close to their skin as you can or I’m sure it bothers their nose. My dog will sit still to let me spray it because she can feel it works; but if the smell gets too strong she runs away.
