Ultimately, the best cat litters for your home are the litters your cats use! With an added all-natural plant derivative for enhanced odor control, this scoopable clumping cat litter is ideal for homes with two or more cats. It is lightweight, soft in texture and has clumping-on-contact abilities. Unlike clay cat litter, World's Best uses a patented process to compress naturally absorbent corn into concentrated granules that trap odor and form tight clumps on contact, so a little goes a long way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy I was in search of an 'easy' litter for my husband to use while I'm in the hospital. I've been using tidy cats for the longest time and noticed a definite change in its ability to produce tight clumps. Not to mention the dust, my husband has asthma. I looked into the Chrystal's, but when I called chewys to question what I had read the customer service person mentioned worlds best cat litter. I always thought it to be a bit pricey, I have 7 cats (ps my house doesn't smell). But in comparison with my pros and cons of crystal cat pellets I decided to try. I love this litter! I have not experienced dust, I think the cats are ok with it - no accidents. Smell, of course when someone poops, the smell lingers a bit, then all is good. The clumping is great, even with my husbands shaking of the litter scoop I think there'll be no crimson falling in. You can flush it, I haven't yet. My plastic bags are much lighter and I don't waste litter in trying to pick up crumbs. I'm sold on this stuff!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Odor control not good I work at a vet's office and we buy this so I figured it must be good. I switched over from a popular "scented" competitor but not long afterwards our apartment started to smell musky. It's definitely related to the litter, which itself is relatively odorless, but must release smell on contact with pee/poo. We scoop whenever we see anything, or at least once a day. The apartment also gets mopped/scrubbed every day, besides, the problem with the smell only started when we changed litter. It's not the cat herself, I pick her up and smell her regularly to be sure... The litter is also less dense than the other one so my cat kicks up more of it onto the floor when she's burying. It's definitely better for the environment (corn, recyclable, decomposable etc.) but my apartment is so small and I can't tolerate the wave of musky odor every time I come in from outside. Maybe it would be okay in a bigger place with better circulation.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Litter! I have used Dr. Elsey's litter and this litter, and there is no comparison. The problem I had with Dr. Elsey's litter was that the litter would get stuck to my kitten's fur after he was finished, and it would get clumped. Another issue I had with Dr. Elsey's was that it was very dusty whenever I scooped the litter. However, with The World's Best Cat Litter, there isn't as much dust, and it is much easier to scoop as it clumps all of the urine and feces effectively. I highly recommend this litter even if it's pricier than other litter, but it is worth it. On a side note, Chewy has great customer service. I placed an order, and when it arrived, the litter bag had a tear where litter would fall out at the top of the bag. I called customer service, and they immediately placed and shipped a new order for me for free of charge. I did not have to return the torn litter. I greatly appreciate the speedy and friendly service that Chewy provides.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Truly the best, at the best price this really is the best all-around litter. No dust (by this I mean the nasty, heavy dust that clumping clay litter produces which gets stuck in your lungs - there is still "dust" which gets on your cats paws...and face, if your special snowflake is as creative with their digging techniques as mine are), no awful scent, controls odor (as long as your cat actually buries their contribution), clumps really well and doesn't stick to the bottom of the box. As for the different formulations, the green bag and the red bag are about the same from what I've experienced - get whichever happens to be cheaper at the moment (they tend to go back and forth and be about $1 away from each other). I don't recommend the purple bag, as the lavender scent was a bit strong and not in a good way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Natural Product, Great Clumping I do not understand the other comments about no odor control and dust. This is the best litter we ever used. It clumps firm and clean. If you scoop right after they pee, then it is not a firm clump, but it firms up as it dries. There are little pieces of the corn litter tracked outside the box, but no big deal for me. There is no dust. It dries up the poop quickly so there is no smell. All 5 of our cats like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! Natural, minimal dust and tracking! No more respiratory issues! I love this product! I have five cats and prefer natural cat litters as opposed to those with heavy perfumes because of my allergies and respiratory issues. I had been using another natural cat litter but was having problems with sneezing, watery eyes and runny nose every time I cleaned the litter boxes. The tracking and dust with my previous litter left me cleaning more than just my cats business. I was frustrated and decided to give this litter a try after all of the great reviews. This litter is a golden yellow color and smells earthy and sweet. It has minimal dust compared to other brands I've used and much less tracking through the house. It has superb clumping and controls odor well. It lasts far longer than clay litter and my cats took to it immediately. So, although there is no perfect cat litter, this is the closest product to perfection that I and my cats have encountered.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from World's Worst Cat Litter I really tried to like this litter. I bought it several times and all of those times it just does not control smell. I love that it's so light and it's environmentally friendly. Those are the only reasons I gave it 2 stars. It smells weird when you first put it in the litter box...kind of like corny sawdust...if that's even a smell lol. That smell wasn't terrible. What was terrible was that smell mixed with cat pee. Oh it's awful! The first few days, it clumps well and then all evil upon the earth emerges. This is expensive litter and with a name like World's Best, well, you expect this to be some good stuff. I can't replace litter for four cats every three days. I was buying one huge bag and using it in two very large litter boxes. I scoop daily. After three days, this litter starts soaking up the pee, the clumps break apart and then when you sift, little tiny pee soaked granules make it back into the litter box. My cat litter pans are in the garage and you could smell them in my living room. Scooping daily, I'd only get a little, probably the equivalent of a quart freezer bag full on the worst days. It's not like my kitties were just peeing like crazy. After one week, this litter becomes so unbearable that you have to change it completely out. There is no hope with adding deodorizer, more litter, anything. It's just a pee soaked mess. Don't buy it...save your money and buy something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Expected Great but got SMELLY--didn't cover smell at ALL Wow---I don't think I've ever written a bad review in my life, but I HAD to about this cat litter. I have 2 new kittens and had previously been using Fresh Step with Fabreeze litter and it was fine, never had any problem with smell...but while shopping on Chewy.com for food, I saw "World's Best Cat Litter" and thought wow...I should try this! Reviews seemed good, but when I got it and switched over to this litter...it was only a matter of 3 hours before the whole room where our litter box is stunk! I was shocked, and figured one of the cats just hadn't covered his droppings. Fast forward 2 more days -- our whole downstairs now smells....I literally have to go scoop out the cat's droppings EVERY time they go because the litter does not cover ANY of the smell...it's nasty. I does clump well--but that's about it. Wish I could get my $ back! DO NOT BUY THIS LITTER
