How did World's Best Cat Litter™ get its name?
Our company started back in 1996, when a group of scientists set out to create the best clumping cat litter possible. What they discovered was a revolutionary process that turned our natural ingredients into a cat litter that delivered concentrated power for a cleaner litter box—with less hassle and less litter. After several tests with consumers, we quickly realized that our litter could go by no other name, and World's Best Cat Litter™ was born!
What formulas of World's Best Cat Litter™ are available?
We have a total of five formulas that all deliver the concentrated power of corn so you can do more with less litter. The Original Series offers long-lasting litters with outstanding overall performance.* Clumping formula for homes with one to two cats* Multiple Cat Clumping formula for homes with two or more cats* Lavender Scented Multiple Cat Clumping formula for multiple-cat parents who enjoy their litter with a light, all-natural floral scentAdvanced Series products deliver our hallmark concentrated power, but add unique ingredient combinations that solve specific problems for cat owners who demand even more out of their litter. This series is available in the following formulas:* Zero Mess™ is the multiple-cat-strength litter that guarantees fast and easy cleanup with 2X better clumping and 2X more odor control, so you get less mess with less wasted litter. It's the only litter that combines the concentrated power of corn with super-absorbent plant fibers that quickly trap liquids in tight clumps, so you don't have to chisel and scrape the box. Scoop once and you're done. * Zero Mess™ Pine Scented delivers the fast and easy cleanup of Zero Mess™. Plus, it adds a blend of real pine ingredients for a gentle, natural scent you'll love.
What are the differences between the Original Series and Advanced Series formulas?
To satisfy the needs of all cat parents, we offer two series of litters that deliver the concentrated power that helps you do more with less. The Original Series offers long-lasting litters with outstanding overall performance. The Advanced Series delivers long-lasting litters purpose-built to solve specific problems.

However, if you or your pets are sensitive to fragrances, we recommend using our Clumping or Multiple Cat Clumping formulas, which are fragrance free.

World's Best Cat Litter™ uses the concentrated power of corn to help you use less litter to maintain a cleaner litter box. Are there any special requirements for storing World's Best Cat Litter™?
World's Best Cat Litter™ is a natural product, so bugs may be attracted to the litter if they gain access. Seal the package or store in a sealed container in a cool, dry place. Do not place litter boxes outdoors in humid locations.
Is World's Best Cat Litter™ more expensive than other litters?
Nope! With World's Best Cat Litter™, you get more for your money because it harnesses the concentrated power of naturally absorbent corn for long-lasting performance. One small bag of World's Best Cat Litter™ lasts one cat 30+ days. How? Our patented process compresses highly absorbent corn into concentrated granules, giving you a cleaner litter box with less litter! Quick-clumping and easy-scooping performance means the rest of the litter stays dry, so you use less, throw away less—and spend less.
Is World's Best Cat Litter™ safe for kittens?
World's Best Cat Litter™ products are made from food or feed-grade ingredients and are safe for kittens over eight weeks of age. In general, veterinarians do not recommend that kittens under eight weeks old use cat litter.
How often do I need to completely change the litter in the box with World's Best Cat Litter™?
How often you need to change your cat litter depends on how many cats you have and how often they use the litter box. World's Best Cat Litter™ harnesses the concentrated power of corn for long-lasting performance, and customers report that they don't have to change the litter as often as with other cat litters.

What Lurks Within?

The Different colored bags..look at Coloring Differences of "Corn Based Litter". Green Bag is the Cheapest..pricewise. Litter USED to be Only Yellow. For awhile now, it has had some small "Black colored pieces" in it. My cat noticed Right away. She kept turning round and round over and over, Sniffing as she did that....took her Almost an entire day of Not Drinking Much and Eating Barely Anything..before finally accepting "It Is..What It Isn't""..Because of those Black Pieces. My cats live Long, Happy, Well-Fed Lives. Cat I have now is 18 yrs old, has Thyroid and Kidney Issues. I Just wanted the Incredible Ability to Flush litter. That is one of the Best Inventions/Developments since Velcro! The Different colored bags..look at Coloring Differences of "Corn Based Litter". Green Bag is the Cheapest..pricewise. So..my cat Notices and Has Issues with the litter. I even tried buying this litter from another business. Prices were higher...so I suppose those of us who are not satisfied with World's Greatest Cat Litter...Could buy elsewheres. But..you'll get the Same issues with the "Black Pieces" in Green Bag. Ahhh..but Notice how the Prices go up..not Only due to Different Weights of the bags. Naturally prices are higher for "heavier" bags..but Red Bags in General Cost More than Green. Why? For "Scent"? Corn "scent" of Yellow (green bag) Litter doesn't offend my cat. … more

Very dusty but great at everything else
By Waffo on Mar 4, 2021
I was looking for a good natural alternative to clay litter (because I hate everything about clay litter, especially because of its environmental impact). I really like this because it's flushable and way better at odor control. It also clumps super fast so way less litter gets used. The only downside is that it's quite dusty. When I pick my cat up after she goes to the litter box I get SUPER dusty, which didn't happen with my clay litter. This is something I can sacrifice though because on all other fronts it's such a great litter.

Great if your litterbox is in a laundry room or mudroom
By Steph on Feb 11, 2021
I got this litter after searching for recommendations online. I have an asthmatic cat and our old litter was so dusty she was having daily attacks, and I was having to dust twice a week just to keep on top of it. I also have a super finicky cat, so I have to keep a litter box in my living room of all the darn places. This litter has NO DUST and my asthmatic cat's attacks have dropped significantly. She only had one this past week instead of the usual 8-10. The only issue is all three cats use this box and while the odor is minimal, it still stinks and it tracks. So next, I'm trying this same brand that is allegedly low tracking and has a pine scent. But overall - for dust - this is the best I got this litter after searching for recommendations online. Worth a try even though my cat....protested
By Nickname on Feb 26, 2021
Well, my cat loved this litter....as a snack! Ugh, gross. She snacked on it for a while then decided to give it a try. To her credit she did try it, then she decided she’d rather just pee on the carpet instead. Thanks kitty! But, the couple times she did use it there was no odor, no tracking (but we use a mat), no dust, and scooping it was a breeze. Plus, it’s environmentally friendly, so that’s a huge bonus! I recommend giving it a try because it sounds like most kitties like it.

World's NOT Best
By Yuck on Feb 17, 2021
I was so hopeful that this would be a great alternative to clay clumping litters (which I would never use) but it ended up all over my house. Tracked like crazy. I usually use yesterday's News or the "generic" of that paper pellet litter. Have had two cats and then a rabbit on it. When we got out kitten, who came from a farm, she took to it immediately and will use whatever I put in her box but the pellets don't track and you have to clean the solids and change the box weekly. I was hoping to eliminate having to do that. This was NOT the answer that I was hoping for.

Really is the best
By RescuedKitty on Feb 10, 2021
I wasn’t a big cat person but we rescued a kitten from an abandoned trailer and it wouldn’t leave my side so I named him ghost and I’m now a cat person hahaha I already had a chewy delivery set up for our puppy so it was convenient when I found this litter. We currently have just an open pan litter box right now. It never smells like cat pee but doesn’t help great with smell of poop but poop stinks anyway and it also doesn’t have the gross perfume smell scented litter gives off. It’s extremely absorbing and clumping. With all the benefits, price for product and quality it has we’ll continue using it.

Great litter
By Carla on Mar 1, 2021
I have three cats and I have tried a variety of litters. I really like this one. It doesn’t smell. It’s easy to scoop and it seems environmentally friendly. The cats don’t mind it at all. In fact the youngest seems to like scratching around in it too much. It does get spilled out of the box a bit. I would ask the makers to switch to a paper package for it to get my full approval!

Great natural cat litter with no dust!
By IDG30 on Feb 1, 2021
I have 2 cats and have been using unscented tiday cats litter for a few years now. I live in a pretty small apartment so litter dust has always been an issue. I saw this litter and heard great things and decided to give it a shot. I have 2 large litter boxes and decided to just start with one box with the new litter. Sadly, my orange tabby ate some of this corn litter and then threw up everywhere. I then mixed their old litter with the new WBC litter at first. I am a few months into this litter and its been great! No dust, my cats use it great (no more eating it, it was just that one time thankfully), and the there is no smell. I scoop everyday and I love that this stuff lasts a good while! Give I have 2 cats and have been using unscented tiday cats litter for a few years now. Not the worst, not the best
By Morgan on Feb 18, 2021
This litter is very dusty. It’s not like a cloud of dust when cleaning, but my cats come out dusty and the floor is dusty. My cats also try to eat it because it’s corn (we only used clay litter before and never had that problem). It eliminates urine odor very well, but doesn’t mask the smell of poop at all. It still tracks but nothing crazy. It clumps very well and doesn’t stick to the litter box.

We like it
By LuSeeLu on Jan 16, 2021
I adopted my kitten at 7 weeks old and she has used this litter with no issues. Prior to her coming to her forever home, she used clay. I did a lot of research on kitty litter before I got her and decided I really wanted this. It is healthier for her and the environment. My girl likes to dig so i put a nice amount in there. So far, I haven't experienced the sandy/dusty residue at the bottom of the litter box. The only time I smell the litter is when she poops but I have never smelled pee. I scoop twice a day and right now I empty it out and clean the litter box every 3 weeks. Because she is small right now I only use half the box.
