I’ve been feeding my two ferrets this food for over a year and they are thriving. I agree that no kibble can be complete diet for ferrets. I give my ferrets one can of Purina one grain free cat food to share every other day and the kibble is always available along with fresh water.
I’ve been buying this for my ferret Leia for almost 3 years and she loves it! She used to be a picky eater but she loves this! She’s never had any digestive system problems and she’s a healthy and happy ferret!
Super hard. Couldn’t even break it with my fingers. My ferret would have nothing to do with this. Smells like fish food.
Idk what caused it, they were both very sick from this product ..I hope I can swap it?
I started feeding this food to my ferret 5 years ago about 3 months after I got him. He was fresh from the pet store and on Marshall's. After doing research, I found wysongs. It took about 2 months, but I noticed he didn't have an overpowering ferrets smell, his poops were less stinky, and less runny. 1 bag typically lasts him a month and a half. It is pricey but it's worth it. I even switched my cat to the cat formula. Which is great cause he loves to steal her food.
definitely recommended, now it is going to be a bit pricey but if you have ferrets you already know everything for ferrets are pricey, wysong is always the top 2 food brand suggested by my vet and everyone else! but they do have different types for current things to help with, this one was suggested from my vet for loose stool so it will help with that! not only that for their health and so much more.
My ferret absolutely loves this food! She has irritable bowel disease and this food seems to help :) highly recommend wysong for your ferret food needs!
I've been purchasing this food for my ferrets because it is a highly recommended brand due to being so high in protein. My issue is how expensive it is for that small of a bag and the fact that my ferrets poop is much softer than it was previously and it smells awful. I switched them from Marshall's food(which is not great due to low protein content) to this and the poop smell is almost unbearable 🤢
bought this all the time until the supply ran out now that its back the price is 10$ more I checked and the ingredients and size hasn't changed. I"ll have to stick to his new food.
my ferrets didn’t like it and it’s so pricey for such a little amount
