My Kitties LOVE this kitty condo!!!

I have assembled many kitty condos in the past, and this one was well labeled and easy to assemble. My younger kitties love the perches on the top and take their afternoon siesta there every day. My senior kitty prefers the baskets and the little house in the middle. I'm really impressed with the design of the kitty condo. Many kitty condos don't have easy ways for the cats to get from one level to another, but this one has cutouts on the side that make this much easier for the cats to climb. The scratching post on the front serves a dual purpose of providing extra stability to the condo. I placed mine in front of the window (which the kitties love), so couldn't attach it to the wall, but so far it has been rock solid even with 4 kitties and wrestlemania activities going on. I highly recommend this kitty condo!

Dangerously Flimsy

I have 3 cats and all are in the 8-9lb range. Two of them love this cat tree and will use it individually (meaning, max weight this thing has seen in 2 months is 18 lbs for 30 seconds, more commonly a single cat is on it, and I know this for sure because we are still introducing the cats in question so they are not spending unsupervised time together). My wife thought screws needed to be tightened because the columns wobble when cats climb them, but no, that's just how the cat tree is, because the materials are so cheap that they are basically glorified cardboard. The "fur" is nice but seems to be where unit cost went, as the core of the components are shockingly flimsy. We are replacing this tree with a Frisco brand one because we're genuinely worried about the cats' safety. And, yes, it comes with a wall mount, but the problem isn't actually the tree's ability to stay upright; it's tippy, but my cats are all climbers and know how to distribute their weight so they don't tip something over. The problem is literally that the actual physical material making up the center column, directly below the highest and thus most popular perch, is so flimsy it visibly shakes and bends when a 9lb cat climbs up it. Maybe this would be suitable for kittens, but as-is, it's not worth the box it came in.

My cats happy place

Small and Unstable

This cat tree is okay, but it's small and unstable. When my cat jumps onto it the whole thing shakes, even though it's tethered to the wall. The tube is not attractive to my cat as he doesn't fit well into it. The top of the cat tree is also too small to be comfortable for my cat. He is not large. He only weighs about 6 pounds and he is an adult. This might be a good piece for kittens, but kittens grow up. I would not recommend this cat tree. Now I'm seeing the description says it's a kitten tree ... my bad for not recognizing that before my purchase. However, buying a piece of furniture for a kitten that will not be functional when that kitten inevitably grows up is not economical. Bad choice on my part; bad development on the manufacturer's part.

Cozy

It was a great find for my kitten, but it won't work when he becomes an adult. This item should state its for small cats or kittens. Now I will have to buy another one because he will not fit on it when he is adult size be nice to get a discount on future purchase.
