Disappointing...
The pen arrived perfectly packed and in good condition. It's very easy to assemble, looks very sturdy and am hoping it holds up in the varying weather conditions & lawn sprinklers. I knocked off stars because it is not fold-able which makes it inconvenient to keep disassembling and reassembling every time it needs to be moved. And the door is flimsy and comes off very easily when adjusting the pen or if my dogs lean or jump against the pen when other dogs go by. My community does not allow fencing so I bought this so my dogs can have a place to run and play outside. I need to move it weekly when the landscapers come through and it's a pain in butt taking it completely apart and making sure I've gathered up all the pins each time.

So glad we decided to give this a try. Not only are we happy the fur babies are too. Goes together really easy and quick. We read about the door not being stable and used the zip ties also. We also read it is a bit noisy. Not planning to move it for awhile we zip tied the panels together and removed the connecting rods and now there's no noise at all. We are more than satisfied with this playpen and definitely recommend it.
Great Playpen
Got this to keep my 2 dogs in a safe place. (Yorkie & Chihuahua) when i have to run out or put in yard for them. Well built and took less than 5 mins to put up and take down. One set of this playpen has Plenty of room in it for them , was going to add another but don't need . Has plenty of room for Wee Wee pad , Food bowls and blanket . Very strong made and so so happy i found this one. Its Perfect and well worth the money.
perfect for puppies!
My daughter's dog had puppies recently. She needed some way to safely contain them, so I bought this after reading lots of reviews. I love the fact that she could start off with using fewer panels when the puppies were small, but as they've grown, she's added the other panels. This works perfectly to give them enough space to run around without getting into trouble. And with it being next to the couch, Mama dog is able to get in and out whenever she likes without us having to open the gate.
Mom won't let me eat dirt!
I have Megaesophagus and am on a restrictive feeding regime. I used to love to root around in the gardens looking for worms and things and eat dirt, but now I regurgitate everything that isn't fed vertically!!! So my mom bought this playpen, puts a rug down in it on the grass and I get to watch the yard and stay safe. My mom gets to garden without worrying about me ingesting anything. She says this is a well built structure, good size and loves the fact that it is portable. It's a little heavy for her because she's an old lady....sssshhhhhh....don't tell her I said that, she might never buy anything for me again from my favorite site!
Kitten play ground
I am so delighted with this purchase. It’s a perfect place to put my kittens when I can’t watch them. So much room, they have so much fun. It’s also a great place to start potty training.
Bang for the buck, good value!
Great value, well made and finished. User friendly, flexible design for rapid assembly and take down. Some prior comments about gate coming off hinge pins is accurate but easily remedied by a large zip tie or two above door hinge tubes once installed to keep it in place while still easily removed if ever needed. Gate latch rather loose in engaged position and rattily but a small section of rubber tubing fixed that minor issue. I bought this for use as a whelping enclosure and expect it will serve well for a fraction of the price of a big name item that is very similar in construction.
Wire Cage
Lightweight but sturdy. Easy to assemble. To make it rectangular to octagonal, you just move it. No taking apart. I currently have 6 of the 8 panels in a rectangular shape for my puppy. May or may not add the other two. I think it will be big enough, especially when I reconfigure it. As mentioned in another review about the gate, I don't know why they made it so if you lift it, it comes off. I used zip ties to keep that from happening. Haven't used it outdoors, although it would be easy to move and anchor to ground. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.
So Far So Good!
Really nice quality and not flimsy at all. I thought it wouldn’t be as stable as I’d like because it’s on tile floor, but with the use of those sticky sponges I had laying around, it doesn’t slip at all! My chihuahua is highly energetic and sometimes jumps on the playpen, it doesn’t tilt or anything but it does make a ding sound because of the wires. The bottom of the door height is too scary for my pup but I bought this playpen for that reason, to teach him how to stay and also teach him how to jump it. Easy to assemble, though having someone to help would be nice. All wire and the bar spacing is about an inch and a half. Playpen can be adjusted to any shape you’d like and as many doors you’d like. It’s tall enough for a big dog, goldens, shepherds, stuff like that. The height is perfect! Easy to clean too, as a person with OCD I absolutely LOVE this playpen, my last one was plastic and so hard to take apart and had so many holes, so it was hard to clean, but this one, ugh so easy and satisfying! I’m telling you. The door is also walkthrough, so we don’t have to be jumping around it like Olympian’s hah, we can just walk through it, which makes it easy to clean inside the playpen too, especially if you’re short like me, jumping over can be difficult and painful at times and with back problems, forget it, but this playpen makes it so soooo easy! I am so happy with this thing! 100000% recommend!
Great playpen
This is a sturdy, well built playpen that is flexible so you can make it the size you need. It kept 5- 10 week old puppies in a safe space at the shelter, when their kennel became too small. Easy to clean. Only drawback is that every time we opened the gate, it would come off. But if opened slowly it would stay on. We would recommend this.
