To ensure the normal use, please place the pool on the flat and smooth ground without sharp objects. The last thing is that always put the swimming pool in the shade.
I really really wanted to love this pool for my Border Collie. What I did love about it was the ease of set up, draining system, cleaning, storing it, and size. However - it only lasted one month of use before a hole tore in the bottom of the pool. I wish Yaheetech would include a circular rubber mat to lay in the bottom to protect it from splashing feet. I am going to try to patch the hole with the little patch that came with it, but I'm not holding my breath at success. I'm bummed.....and so is my dog. :( Chewy, please offer some better options for those of us searching for more indestructible large pools!
Keeps water cold and the dog loves it

We've had the pool for a couple of weeks now and it is great. It does spend half the day in the sun, but the water still stays super cold, which I find very impressive. I was expecting the water to be hot by the end of each 90+ degree afternoon and needing to replace the water, but that is not the case.
We have a 50 lb older dog, so we lift him in and he just stands in the pool. It covers his legs and his belly just touches the water. We then pour water on him to cool him down and he will stand in the water until we lift him out.
The build quality is very good. I would recommend this to most dog owners.
Arrived with a hole
on Jul 14, 2021
The pool arrived, I cleaned off an area to set it up on my cement pad and started filling it with water. Immediately, I noticed water leaking out of the side. There was already a good sized hole on the edge of the pool where the side meets the bottom. Fortunately, the pool came with patches, so we'll see how that works out after I empty it, let it dry and patch it. Definitely a bummer!

I think this product is very misleading. They merely reference a max fill line(but not what the max is) and it is well below the top. We unfolded it and didn't even fill it before deciding it was all wrong. Our dogs are only 90+ lbs and it's not deep enough at the max fill line. And the extra height at the top is 1.5" flexible seam. I would say better for smaller dogs, but the height if the pool itself could be prohibitive. A lot of step over , for not a lot of depth. I do like the bottom drain and bring able to fold it, but my boys need it to stay cool which is my main priority.
Fun Time - Nails Need To Be Super Sanded Though

I bought this pool for my Gold Retriever, who is now 18 months old. We've only used it 3 times so far. The first time my dog went into it he had very sanded nails, the pool was fine. The second and third time his nails have slightly sharpened, and the pool now has small very hard to see micro-cuts in the bottom. I feel that the bottom material should really have been a sturdier material, it is not very thick at all. Knowing a dog would potentially be playing in it, seems like the company designing it would take that into consideration. It is listed as also being a cat pool, and my cats have way sharper nails than my dog, so if anyone were to put a cat inside this pool and it used it's claws toI bought this pool for my Gold Retriever, who is now 18 months old. It is listed as also being a cat pool, and my cats have way sharper nails than my dog, so if anyone were to put a cat inside this pool and it used it's claws to go after a toy, the bottom would be shredded. The sides are double layered with a different material on the outside and a center board type slab in between to make the sides stay up and sturdy. Still if you attempt to move it across your driveway into your garage for storage, be sure to pick it up completely, because the outside material is easily cut as well. Our dog hasn't damaged the outer part, but we made a little cut when trying to lift it up to move it and one section dragged across the driveway briefly until it was in the air. You definitely want to have another person to help move it around, maybe even a couple extra people. It's not super heavy, just awkward to handle. Our dog has had a blast in the pool, which is why I gave it 3 stars, or else I'd have given 2 due to the flimsiness of the material and the price of the pool. For the price I expected something that would last, and something that would really truly be made with pets in mind. I can see this pool be easily destroyed by children compared to a pool made for children. We used some flex seal tape to seal up the holes. Our pool looks like someone was trying to decorate the bottom of the pool with pieces of tape for fun, it is that sad. Before we noticed the holes, we did see leakage from the pool, just didn't know the location(s) of the leak. It's really hard to see until you flip the pool over and let it dry off. It was a slow leak so it didn't affect his fun time, it stayed close to the fill line for the whole day even with the leaks, so it wasn't a total bust for us. I will continue to use it until it gets too ridiculous with the tape, but next summer I'm planning on buying one of those hard plastic kiddie pools, because those don't have the risk of friction tears, and I won't have to constantly sand his nails.… more

love love this pool...we have three large Labradors and it's perfect, we have added a filter though as we are water conscious and are using rain water we save and then run it thru a filter which we put in the middle of the pool. it's very well constructed and easy to put up and down..excellent choice for us. Thank you for another amazing product "Chewy"

I have an 8 month old puppy who completely destroyed this pool in under an hour of it being set up. The seam was separated and the MDF panels were removed. So disappointed because she is not generally a chewer or destructive puppy.

We got this for our 7 month puppy and he loves it. We tried putting him into our above ground pool but it seemed like too much for him so we got him this. We fill it up near his dog house and when he gets too hot he goes in and cools off. It’s the perfect size and price. I would recommend this for any dog owner looking for a way to cool off their pup.
Perfect For Dogs!

As a pet owner, I’ve realized that the heat that we have been facing since the early stages of summer won’t just affect me but my dogs! I came across the beautiful pool for my dogs and I just had to get it! It came on time, it was VERY DURABLE and my dogs were able to jump in when it was filled just half way. I loved this purchase!
Not so good

One wall of pool tips over letting water out so the pool drains faster than I can almost fill it.
My water loving dogs won’t go near it. I guess they only like moving water. I’m now using what’s left to water my yard and will donate it to neighbor kids if they want it.
