Sticker Glue Can't be Removed
The sticker they wrap around it is coated in a layer of glue that can't be removed from the fabric. This time it melted into the fabric and through it, sticking to the actual catnip inside when it cooled or it got wet and ran through. No amount of scraping with a knife or wiping with vinegar would remove the disgusting sticky residue or all of the white sticker backing from the fabric. Toy had to be thrown out. I purchased this expensive toy because it's supposed to be organic and high quality and made of canvas - aka for people who don't want to poison their pets with cheap toxic toys. Won't be buying Yeowww! again.

I'm a long time fan of Yeowww! as I've never met a cat that doesn't seem to love something from their brand, but the banana seems to be the most enjoyed! I often find cat tooth marks in the cloth and it's a good kicker size. Plus, it's always hilarious to watch a cat get the zoomies over a banana! Highly recommend.
Big yes and big no
My cat took to this catnip banana like no other toy--just went for it right away. This was a pleasure to see since most of her toys just lie around unused. BUT, within a couple of days I saw that her teeth were leaving puncture marks on it. Not a good sign. I think the description of it says something like "sturdy twill"--well, it's not sturdy. Within 2 weeks she had torn the seam and the catnip was spilling out. So how many stars does such a toy deserve? Would I recommend it? Yes and No. I'll put down Yes because my cat loves it, but it also clearly desrves No.

There must be some good nip in this catnip toy. I tossed it on the living room floor & Cuddles came from somewhere immediately. She sniffed it, flopped on the floor by it & began rubbing her face on it. She hasn't left it since then, rolling around on the floor with it & wrapping her front legs around it. She is one happy & mellow kitty.
Cats go bananas over this banana!!
So I bought one of these in the past and my babies love it..but it was time for a new one. I should've bought 4 cuz it was a ball of fur fighting over this toy. I couldn't believe my eyes!! It was hilarious at first but then it seemed to get a little too serious so I had to take it away so they could relax for a minute. This banana never disappoints! Get it!! (But get one for each of your cat babies)
we are a bunch of bananas
this is milos favorite toy, and has been for almost 3? 4 years? he is so picky about toys, but the banana is so precious to him that i have bought so many replacements over the years when it gets dirty or he manages to rip it open and starts sucking the cat nip out like a weirdo. only did that once, they are pretty tough i will buy these forever
Banana Bash
My Spicy (picky) gurl LOVES her bananas, yet she has two. I purchased two just in case- my babies don’t share. One fur baby has absolutely no interest in cat nip, and that’s ok. My other baby goes through the roof for it and she will NOT share; let go off or sleep without it - she’s obsessed and I’m soo happy I’ve finally found a toy she interacts with and actively seeks out.
My cats go bananas over these
Out of the hoard of cat toys my cats have accumulated, these are by far their absolute favorite, and the one I replace for them the most. They love these and never turn them down. The only "negative" thing I could say is that they don't hold up as well as I wish they would. Otherwise they're great and I highly recommend them.
The cats went crazy
Oh wow...the cats went crazyyyy for this on day 1. I should've bought 2 instead because my cats don't like sharing. I took off a star because the yellow exterior of the banana looks/gets dirty fast. Even after washing it, the color still looked off. They stopped playing with it though...so I guess the catnip smell wore off fast.

Banana is the best! You might think to yourself "well the other Yeowww! toys are just a bit differently shaped and maybe a different color, but I'm sure my cat will like it just the same, right?" Wrong! Cats love the banana! Silliness aside (although it's true that banana is the best) I really like Yeowww! as a brand, because they're one of the few that doesn't use toxic dyes on their toys. They're made in the US, their dyes are vegetable-based, and the catnip is organically grown. The toys arrive fresh, judging by how excited kitties get even before the box is opened. I have purchased the banana many times, both for my kitties and as gifts for friends' kitties, and it is always a hit.
