Clumping litter yesterday news

Clumping news is horrible! Tracks all over house what a mess! Someone at Chewy cancelled my regular yesterdays news non-clumping litter so ordered the clumping. I would give it a minus rating if I could...

Finally, a winner!

We’d been pretty happy with the non-clumping version of this, but when we discovered that there was a clumping version, we were excited about trying it. It’s been wonderful for the last year plus. Less tracking, no dust, easy to scoop, and after a week there’s no smell with three cats (which is when litter should be changed anyway for everyone’s benefit) and most importantly, the cats like it. We spent years trying to pinpoint the best litter for us by trying sooo many and this is the clear winner.

Keep Yesterday's New yesterday!

This is dark litter that tracked ALL over my house. I couldn't believe how bad it was. It took me two days to find all the mess and clean it up. Gave the rest to the person who recommended it to me. Obviously they don't mind the mess.

Worst litter

I’ve used the non-clumping Yesterday’s News for quite some time and been happy except for it’s inability to contain urine smell so I thought I’d try the clumping version. Unfortunately, it is possibly the worst litter I’ve ever used for dust and messiness. It tracks outside the litter box worse than any clay-type litter I’ve had. The solid clumps stick to the bottom of the box so you have to scrape it and then the loose excess won’t sift through a scoop so you throw away as much as you scoop up. We tried it for a couple of weeks and ultimately composted the remainder of the unused package.

One Good Cat Litter!

This is pretty good, environmentally & not too dusty. Some cats like it, some do not. Price isn't too bad & it isn't heavy to move. Just one of many options to try if you cat is having issues with the litter you currently use.

Not for me

I really wanted to like this litter but I can't. Love the idea, but not the reality. I stopped using clay litter ages ago due to environmental concerns, dust & weight of product & have been searching since. So, tried this one. Not good for me - hard to find & scoop clumps due to color of litter, it is fairly dusty, it seems "gritty," tracks out of box quite a bit. Don't care for it.

I usually use Yesterday News non clumping and I wanted to try something new. First my cat tracked it everywhere, clumps fall apart, did not mask any smell, lastly when you scoop it up you see the dust in the air. I wish I could give this a good review but I was very disappointed.

This stuff is terrible!

I like the recycled paper part, but that's all. It still tracks, it doesn't allow you to clean out the pee, whole pieces just stick to the poo wasting a lot, and it's slippery in the plastic box. Going back to non-clumping clay cat litter.
