Works for Traumatized Boxer
I own a 2-year-old Boxer, weight 80 pounds, who suffered a traumatic incident as a puppy. After consulting with behaviorists, vets, and handlers, it was suggested that we try Vitamin B therapy. After searching for an appropriate product, I discovered Yucalm, and decided to give it a try. I pair these with Composure - long lasting formula, as his vet suggested, and have experienced great success. A dog whom I once could not get out the front door, now walks confidently around the neighborhood. His fear of men has lessened. I use these daily as a part of long term therapy for him. I began to see results after about 6 weeks of use. The key to success is daily use over a period of time. I will continue to keep him on them. Although a wee bit costly, the results I have seen are worth it.
calm chews did not help
Tried these chews for my 3 dogs, one is a little more anxious than the other two. The other two are just sometimes over-whelmed when there are lots of things happening in one day, grocery delivery, lawn mowed, mailman delivery, etc. Tried them more than once and they did not help at all. Still looking for a product they may acutally work to calm adult large dogs sometimes. They did like them, though.
