Finally something my dog will like

My dog has been having a bout of vomiting spells lately and I think it's due to the food he was eating which may have been contaminated. I had originally bought this pork + salmon version to use as a topper with his (pre-made) raw diet. It's been a hit so far and no tummy issues. I'm shelving the raw diet for a bit until I can fully conclude that his raw diet was contaminated with something. As for now, this Zeal Canada is something that not only he can eat, there are no known active allergens in this product that I would have to be wary about. My dog is allergic to many things which include chicken, beef, eggs (egg shells included), and celery. He LOVES pork and that has been his go to protein from the get go. Green lipped mussels are great for glucosamine which he has had previously. Freeze dried salmon bits are great for the added omega 3's. The air dried pork has this jerky like texture that is soft but dry & not brittle. My dog eats it right up and normally he's very picky about his food. I wish it came in larger quantities and albeit pricey, it is worth it. Also it is made in Canada! This will be good for when I travel and have to board him with something dry. Not many companies have pork as part of their rotation so I love that Zeal offers this. I sincerely hope Chewy keeps carrying this product because Zeal seems new and hard to find in the U.S. For anyone who is wondering, the bag doesn't smell fishy or porky. In fact, there's no smell at all but according to my dog, taste is everything! Loves it!

Great So Far

I use this along with kibble for my extremely picky GSD. He has many allergies, and this along with Open Farm kibble seems to be working the best.
