Description

The next time you clip your cat’s nails, clip the tip but not the quick with Zen Clipper’s Pet Nail Clipper! The quick is the part of your cat’s nails that carries the blood supply and can be painful when cut. These unique clippers feature a stainless-steel conical blade that only allows the tip portion of the nail inside the cutting area, protecting the quick. This creates an easier, stress-free grooming experience for both you and your paw-tner! The clippers are available in seven different sizes to accommodate a variety of different pets from birds and reptiles to dogs weighing between 30-60 pounds.

Key Benefits
  • Made with a stainless-steel blade for a clean cut that won’t crush the nail like other standard clippers.
  • The conical blade is specially designed to help clip the tip of the nail and not the sensitive quick portion.
  • Helps reduce anxiety and stress associated with cutting your cat companion’s nails.
  • The cushioned, non-slip handle offers superior control and comfort.
  • Available in multiple sizes.

Best clippers on the market! Hands down

By CMDogs on Mar 17, 2021

I have 3 dogs that ALL HATE nail clipping. I've tried them all! AND I've invented a few! YUP I did. And this was so simple I can't believe I haven't thought of it :-( Tricky part is sizing = Get it right! 12lbs uses M, 22 lbs uses Large Now don;t think, if your dogs are like mine and HATE nail clipping that is will go well :-) ha ha it won;t But it will be 100 times easier! Why? Because, you just need to get that nail in the hole and clip! No need for bright light, or you reading glasses = Just clip and move on the the next. My dogs will still try to bite me but it's so fast I do it during their bath, because they are already hating the bath. So one stone = 2 birds :-)

    Good Clippers

By Suzzie on Jan 2, 2021

Have used this several times since I got them. I feel more confident using them. Quiet & doesn't seem to frighten the dogs so we're getting more done each week then we have in the past. Quality seems cheaper then some nail clippers, but their doing the job for now.

    Most definitely

    By OMG1 on Dec 26, 2020

We have six cats and I always have cut their nails, with no problems except for our old man, he’s going to be 16 in March and for his whole life he fought me, but when I used these it was like easy, peasy! And he was waaaay less stressed as well.

Take the time to read sizing

By ilektra on Oct 1, 2020

I've had these clippers for over a year, I'm coming back to buy another set because I keep giving them away to my friends who need them. You have to take the time to read and learn about the sizing instead of assuming what you are purchasing. The small size is meant for birds and kittens. The only down side is that the largest size does not work on my Great Dane but the company has a whole other type of clipper specifically for the larger size nail. THE ENTIRE NAIL IS NOT MEANT TO FIT IN THE HOLE, just the tip you are clipping off. This is to prevent over cutting and harming your animal.

    VERY Dissapointed!

By BrokenClippers on Aug 28, 2020

I was surprised by the quality of this clipper. The first time I used the clipper for my dog, the spring broke off, the clipper is useless. I threw away the package, never thinking the product would fall apart the first time I used them! Grr....not happy for a product that cost almost $20.00 I've never had an issue with any product I've bought on Chewy website, disappointed with this purchase.

    Misleading sizing

By Sizing on Sep 10, 2020

The 'L' size is very misleading, and caused me to order the wrong the size. I ordered an 'L' size thinking it could be used for my large 70lb dog, but on their site they specify in the details that size 'L' is for 'small' dogs 20-40lbs?? That seems like a very mistake prone classification.

    Hole Too Small

By Faye on Jul 20, 2020

I have a 5 lb toy Pomeranian. I ordered large and her nail will not go through the hole. Will send back for a larger size. I have ordered other things from Chewy and they were top notch. Who ever decided Large was for a 20-40 lb dog/cat should test the hole before setting a size. My 5 lb dog's nails would not fit a large. I gave 3 stars because the designer of these needs to re-assess the size of the animal that the clippers will actually fit. If I get a pair that will fit my dog I will re-post as to whether or not I would recommend this item.

    No More Nail Clipping Struggle

By Carolinakats on Jun 20, 2020

My Tortie Point Siamese has had a fear of clipping day. She has struggle with me so hard. I tried the burrito wrap and she escapes. I purchased a grooming/carry cat sack where you just take one paw out and try to snip the ends. No luck, she bite me hard. I then got a muzzle to use with the sack. She struggled and almost shredded the sack. I took her to the groomer at my vet. She could not handle her either. Finally I just let them grow. She never used the furniture to scratch but did shred an area rug. The kitties have a total of four big trees to choose from. No problems with my other kits. Finally when I saw this gadget that just nips the tip I said I’ll give it a try. While she was sleeping My Tortie Point Siamese has had a fear of clipping day. She has struggle with me so hard. I’ll be back and have the nipper where we sit for her to fall asleep and nip a few more. I’m giving her treats every time I nip. Best tool for skiddish kitties. I’m lovin it because you can’t cut too close to the quick. It just fits over the tip. I know she enjoys not having her nails snag on the area rugs. Great product. Buy the smaller diameter hole nipper for cats and you can’t cut the quick. Woo Hoo says Mandolina the Tortie Point ! … more

    DON’T BUY THIS!

By Nana on Jun 15, 2020

I bought a small, medium and large nail clippers for my Yorkie and the small one didn’t even fit my dog’s nails and medium one was still slightly smaller than my dog’s nails so I bought a large thinking that I would be able to clip my dog’s nails with ease but no the hole on the large sized nail clippers is even SMALLER than the medium one! I would love to refund all three of these craps but I’m sure I can’t do that :/ but yeah DONT BUY THIS! Save your money elsewhere!
