Questions & Answers

1 Customer Questions

Can I use this to test a goat?
Answer by ChewyAug 12, 2021
The Zero Egg Count Equine Parasite & Worm Test Kit should NOT be used for goats. Zero Egg Count’s Equine Parasite & Worm Test Kit tests for internal parasites specific to horses. As an aside, Zero Egg Count also offers a Small Ruminant (Goat and Sheep) Parasite Test kit, but Chewy does not currently offer it.

Quick and Easy!

I have always been worried about over-worming my horses. A friend was adamant that I needed to de-worm every six weeks or my horses would not lose their winter coats. When I asked some other more experienced friends about this, they said that was nonsense and I should always do a fecal count to make sure I am targeting the right worms and if it is even necessary. I didn't want to pay for another barn visit by my vet and so I was very pleased to find that these test kits were available! After collecting the samples and mailing them in I had my results within the week!! This is a great service and I'll definitely use it again in the fall to determine what if any treatment my horses require.

Zero Egg Count

I ordered 2 kits. On Chewy's end, everything was great! After sending my samples, I had confirmation that both samples had been received. I only received results for one horse. I have tried to contact Zero Egg Count via email and phone, with no response.
