  • Loving this Litter (it's darn near perfect)

    By on

This litter is not perfect (I doubt there ever will be a perfect litter), but it's pretty darn close. I recently tried the regular World's Best unscented litter and although I liked it, I was unsure. I loved that it was dust free, it definitely had less tracking, but the smell of the actual litter was a little odd. I was also a little unsure about whether this litter controlled odor as well as other clumping litters or if it was just the funky smell of the litter. After a while the litter had a super strong ammonia smell from the cat urine. They put a timeline on the bag (which is nice!) that tells when you when you should change the litter and mine came darn near close, but that last week This litter is not perfect (I doubt there ever will be a perfect litter), but it's pretty darn close. Anyway, I knew I didn't want to give up on this litter because I loved the no dust, less tracking and it's flushable. Then I found Zero Mess and it's definitely better than the regular World's Best. This one is pine scented and yet I can't really smell the scent, but I definitely think it has better odor control and clumps urine better, and of course it still has all the great features of the regular litter. I'm happy with this litter and think it's worth the money! … more

  • Love This Litter!

    By on

This is one of my favorite Litters. Why? Hmmmm let’s see well I really like the consistency of it, No dust, seems to clump well and I think the Oder control was decent. You just have to try it. I was surprised at the negative reviews. I think some people have unrealistic expectations from cat litter. There are a number of factors that simply depend on the cat, like tracking and whether your cat will use it. I don’t know that any litter can be 100% dust free and trackless. The only thing that concerns me is the warning from California about the wood dust being known to cause cancer. Really?!

  • Good Litter

I really like this litter, and so does my cat. It doesn't suppress odor as well as some clay litters, but it is much lighter and easy to scoop. Plus it's better for the environment.

  • No Pee Balls!

    By on

I love the original World's Best Cat Litter (red package) because it makes "really nice" pee balls. Zero Mess doesn't really make balls...removing pee from the litterbox is more like trying to scoop up a crumbled cookie.

  • Much Mess!

    By on

I bought this from Chewy because it was supposed to cut down on mess and be trackless. It is exactly the opposite - it tracks much more than the other World’s Best or any other litter I’ve ever used. I have to vacuum twice a day. It is basically sawdust, so very light and easily tracked EVERYWHERE! Other than that it does have a pleasant pine and cedar scent. The pine fades quickly but the cedar scent continues and the litter does do a great job of absorbing odors of both urine and feces thus lasts a long time before needing changed. And it is all natural and organic. This is the reason I gave it 2 stars rather than 1. • Not as good as the lavender

    By on

Normally I always get World's Best Lavender, but I got this litter thinking it would smell like pine wood (since we're approaching the holidays). It didn't. It's more expensive than the one I normally get, it smelled more like hamster bedding and it didn't really contain the odor. Just not my cup o' tea :)

  • It isn't what it used to be

    By on

When the old pine scented world's best switched to this new one, I worried it wouldn't be as good, but I decided to give it a try anyways. Pine scented worlds best had been my favorite litter for quite a while. I really wanted to like the "improved" version but I was very disappointed. It smelled odd before use and even worse when they peed. It also breaks apart more when scooping. Such a shame. Will not be buying this product again. Hopefully one day they will switch it back to the old formula. Why change something if it does great already?

  • Poor clumping

    By on

I have used World's Best Multiple Cat formula since it came out. First of all, there's no such thing as Zero Mess litter. The texture of this is weird, it doesn't clump well so it always seems damp. I guess the pine scent (which is not noticeable) must control the odor better than the plain Zero Mess litter (which is also terrible). Will return to the regular (or Lavender Scented) multiple cat formula.

  • Worth every penny

When we rescued our cat I watched a video on all the different kinds of cat litters out their. All made of different things and all having different reasons for buying them. I got what I was looking for in the worlds best cat litter. It isnt grainy so there isn’t a lot of dust when I’m scooping. The cat doesn’t get it stuck between his toes and track it into my bed. And best of all it clumps really really well! When the cat pees and I scoop it it’s a perfectly solid round ball. It’s crazy awesome. The only time it isn’t like that is if the cat digs to the bottom and pees at the bottom and then covers it. But even then super easy to scoop. But litter is only half the battle.
