My doggies are calmer
Hello, my pups at first didn’t want to eat the treat. It does give a strong odor because its based on a plant with chicken flavor. I had to train my pups to eat the small chew. I also had to do this with multiple vitamins that I buy. Though this chew has saved my pups I have a King charles spaniel cavalier that barks at fireworks, but with a lot of playing to get him tired then give him his food with the chew in his meal. He doesn't bark at night and sleeps like a baby. I also have an Akita mix, but she is much more calmer I only give her half of the chew. I started to give it to them on June first and will keep giving it to them once 4th July ends. I will give them smaller portions of the chew until they are off of it again. I did this last year, too I am lucky to have very calm pups, but like every year the fireworks give them anxiety. Hope this was helpful and have a safe 4th of July.
Calming Mini Bites
This product had a strong odor to it. They did not like the taste so I was not able to get any of my dogs to take it. So I am not sure if it really is calming.
worked so far
I live in Las Vegas so we don't have thunder storms too often but when we do my Angel is so scared! These seemed to work, she was still scared but not as bad as usual.

It is good my dog calm down to a certain point, but only for few hours
Didn't work
Unfortunately, not only did these not really work, if I used them too many days in a row (2 or more) my little pup would get diarrhea. Bummer because she suffers from anxiety.

Zesty Paws coming
This is worth everything to me especially around 4th of July. Or anytime there are loud noises around your neighborhood. It has no after effects to your fur baby and really helps them stay calm.
Great Product
I have found this product work beautifully on our dachshund/chihuahua mix dog. We have used Calming Bites for 4 years with great success under many circumstances.
Opposite Effect
Unfortunately, these treats seemed to have the opposite effect on our little chi boy. He appeared more anxious and clingy on the few occasions I tried these out for him. He also didn’t seem to like the taste. I’m glad to see other positive reviews for those who these worked great for; just didn’t help our boy. So, as with most things, they may not be for everybody, but it’s good to know they do help lots of other fur babies. :)
Tasty Treat
My dog is a bit hyper. He’s just a big puppy. I thought these might help calm him a bit since they have melatonin in them. He loves the smell and taste, but they don’t do much for him as far as making him more calm. He might just be a bit too big for them to have much of an effect. I do like to use them as a treat though. I think the little heart design of each piece is super cute.
