Crumble it into your kitties food; WORKS GREAT!
By Becca on Dec 16, 2020
My kitty has had canned food only for years due to a GI condition. Her vet recommend she try this product for her returning constipation but my kitty hesitated to chew the treat. The treats crumble so easily into the food. I stir it in and she eats it like it is a dessert - just devours it. It says to build up to two a day however she still only needs one. This is an awesome product and my cat gets constipated so easily. She has even had enemas multiple times in a row in a past at the vet before yielding results. Things have changed since then. But this seems to be gentle on her tummy, she has never once vomited, loves the stir in...A +++ THANK YOU Zesty Paws!

Hairball treats
By HairBall on Dec 29, 2020
My cat is very picky about things but does like anything Salmon. I got these the other day and when I got them first off they were not soft they had become hard. And Second my cat turned her nose up at them and I don't blame her because they have a very odd smell to them not fish at all.

Works, but need to crumble into food
By Tabuto on Jan 11, 2021
These have made a difference in decreasing the frequency of my cats hairballs and spit up. But the won't eat them unless they are crumbled and mixed into wet food. I wish they just sold it at a powder to scoop and mix it.

Too Big - Didn’t Like
By DaizysMom on Nov 27, 2020
The treat pieces are too big and they crumbled when I tried to cut them into smaller pieces. Daizy did not like at all. Mixed the cut pieces with a couple treats she does like and she picked out all the good ones and left these pieces behind. Also had a not so pleasant smell. First time ordering them so not sure if they were supposed to smell like that.

Tried on 2 cats, 1 liked em
By djessary80 on Nov 23, 2020
I'll start off by saying that I posted a review back in October and it is nowhere to be found. Anywayz, my 3 y/o kitty Spot would not touch these but I tried them out with my buddy's new kitten and woulda ate them until he got sick. So the conclusion, I'm sure they work but from my cats perspective, eww. My buddy's cat, yum yum yum more please.

So far so good.
By Cimmarian on Oct 14, 2020
The treats are large, which makes them a bit difficult for my smaller cat to eat. However, since I started giving them to my bigger cat, there has been a dramatic decrease in her hacking up anything. I know hairballs are painful for cats and they were nearly a daily occurrence for her. SO, they seem to help! Which I am obviously thrilled about. I also noticed that she doesn't eat them right away, but they do get eaten. So there is something about the flavor or smell that isn't immediately appealing to my cat. But since she does eat them, obviously she doesn't mind too much. Overall, I'm happy with these and my cat seems to be too.

Cat won't eat. Prefers to play with them.
By ChaChaFance on Oct 17, 2020
I hate to give a low rating but this is based on my CAT'S OPINION, not mine. My cat prefers to play with these rather than eat them. I tried breaking it in half to see if maybe she's give them a nibble them, but no luck. I did manage to crumble up half of one into some wet food, and she ate that. However, she won't just eat them the way they are. I hate to see it! However, I will give them to my neighbor who has two cats. Hopefully, they'll enjoy them.

Not for my non picky eaters
By Jerzy on Oct 30, 2020
I don't think my cats have ever met a treat or meal they don't like. They did NOT like these at all. I'm sure that someone's cats like them or possibly they would is they were super hungry, but for now the noses are tuned up. They feel very gritty and are pretty big. I had high hopes for these but if I have to coat them to make them more palatable I'd rather stick to my regular treats, 21st Century Essential Pet Hairball Support Soft Chews Supplement for Cats.

food loving cat refused to eat these
By Merc on Oct 16, 2020
I have a cat who LOVES food -- he's the opposite of finicky. He is also allergic to grains & has hairball issues. So I thought this supplement would be perfect. Nope. He sniffed it, refused to eat it, and looked up at me in total disgust. So I tried crumbling it into wet food. He ate some of his wet food, didn't touch the supplement, and wouldn't finish the now contaminated (according to him) wet food. He normally licks up every molecule of wet food. I tried giving the supplement to our "hoover" Australian Shepherd as a test. She wouldn't eat it either! Crazy. Apologized to both of them. Hoping the cat will forgive me for my substandard offering.

My cat won't eat these no way shape or form.
By CatMom on Oct 20, 2020
They smell like a medication when you open the container. I have tried everything to get my cat to eat them but never got one of them in him. Tossed out the food I tried to hide them in also. I bought the Calming Bites as well by Zesty Paws and the same issue. They don't smell like a flavor cats would like. I was really excited to try this product. I have a hairball supplement I use for him already but wanted to try this but if he can't eat it, it certainly won't help.
