Our girl has allergies and cannot eat chicken, so I had a hard time finding a dental chew that was affordable, chicken free, with ingredients I felt comfortable feeding our girl. She's halfway through her second bag and her skin symptoms related to her allergy seem to have genuinely improved. She used to become very flushed or get itchy from time to time, but hasn't seemed to have any issues lately. My only complaint is the mint flavor. It does nothing to freshen her breath and shes not a fan of the smell, but she likes the texture and enjoys eating them as long we put a tiny amount of peanut butter on it.
I only gave this 4stars because why am I one dog Cheerio loves them Rosie my other dog refuses to eat them. They really do help with the dogs breath.
Consistency is key with ANY Zesty Paws products BUT THEY WORK
My pitbull has horrible spring allergies. His tummy gets all red, splotchy and he starts losing his fur. The vet recommended zestypaws after trying many other things. The Hemps element Aller- Immune are the only things that have helped his allergies. His fur is coming back and the redness has gone away. He loves the peppermint over the cheese flavor. I highly recommend!
I thought I would give my dog this treat to help with his teeth, but I have given him this treat twice now, and, on each occasion, he has regurgitated the treat.
I’ve tried a lot of different dental chews for my dog but these are by far her favorite. She gets one a day after breakfast and is always excited for it. The additional allergy benefits are a plus. I give her the normal allergy supplements by this brand too and they have been extremely helpful for managing her allergies. Not sure how effective these are by themselves since they have less of those ingredients than the supplement soft chews but I’m sure they can’t hurt.
It's really hard to find dental chews for my dog because he is allergic to basically everything. I like to give him one for bed time every night as a treat to get him into his bed and a sort of "night time teeth brushing". These miraculously don't have any of his allergens in them! My only wish would be that they could be bigger bc he's a 90 lb German Shepherd, and he barely chews them bc their pretty small, haha. Otherwise, these are a staple in my house now!
My almost 2 year old Rottie absolutely loves these allergy sticks. As soon as I grab the bag he’s running over to me. They’re great for cleaning his teeth and freshening his breath. He was having bad yeast infections in his ears along with dry itchy skin. We give him about 2 a day and pretty much the dry skin, yeast infection, and itching has stopped. These are his morning and night time treats. He loves them!
My dog loves these! I’ve noticed her breath has been a lot better also.
My dog loves these ! A big bonus is that they’re meant to help soothe allergies , it seems to do that well! I do wish they sold a bigger size but I’ve been freezing or adding mine to kongs to last a little longer.
