First night I gave one to my 12 year old, she pooped on the carpet in the middle of the night. *not normal* I believe I skipped a day or 2 (we’ve been and forgetful). What I believe is the second night I gave her one, she pooped on the carpet in the middle of the night. I think this one actually woke me up (writing this at 3am after reading the other bad reviews to confirm it was probably this treat). I will say, both times I got up and found it she was energetic and playful and jumping to go outside. But probably not a great sign that she was jumping to go back outside either.
They leave yellow stains when they break down, and they crumble easily. I thought there was turmeric in these treats, maybe I made that up or assumed since they are yellow, but didn't read that on the ingredients.
My 9 year old Boston Terrier has been talking the Zesty Paws Senior Advanced 11 in 1 multivitamin for about 6 months. First of all, he takes them easily as a treat. So that's a win. Overall, I saw improved poop quality and activity level. Since he has a sensitive stomach, I worried about starting him on a supplement. But he's done wonderfully. Not every supplement is right for every dog, but I would certainly recommend.
Our dog is now 8 and it is time to start the glucosamine/chondroitin/MSM protocol. I’m glad to see turmeric in this formulation because I take that as well! Great comprehensive holistic supplement, the ingredients check out, doggo loves it, awesome honest product :)
I purchased this item for my 9 year old Husky who past two years ago. I had a few left over so I gave them to my 3 year old hound Gus. once they were gone I purchased the Zesty Paws Ancient Elements 8-in-1 Bites Bison Flavored Soft Chews. Gus would not take them. So I went back to the senior chews and he takes it without hesitation.
Can't give an accurate review as my dog passed away before I could see any pros or cons with this product...I will say he did love the flavor as he would get very excited when I would give them to him
I had my Bunnie Girl, a 20 year old toy pomeranian I rescued 2 years ago. Let just say her first 8 years of her life were not good to her. Anywho, I put her on the Zesty Paws for just prebiotic, well I up graded her to the 11 & 1, she loves it and I can see a difference in her walking already. Laying in a kennel popping out babies for a life can damage the growth of your overall health not to mention loss of muscle in the legs ....
Bought these for my 12yr old Dachshund, and he loves them! I have noticed a slight difference in his activity level and he has been running with the pack more than usual. This weekend, as sad as it is, he caught a rodent in our yard. He is TWELVE and usually just trots around the yard sniffing here and there…well, this weekend he brought me a rat. I’d say that’s a bit of a difference in energy if there is one!!! (I always supervise my dogs in the yard, especially the little guys. This happened very quickly while I ran inside to grab a trash bag!)
I never write reviews. I don’t have the time or patience or executive functioning to do it most of the time, but this has been the single most effective pet product I have ever purchased. I have a 13 year old poodle who has always been a very healthy girl. I started noticing her slowing down around 9/10 years old, so I tried out different brands of supplements not really sure if any of them were doing much. Zesty Paws was a little expensive for me since I was skeptical about dog supplements in the first place, but I went ahead and got them when there was a good sale going. Her mobility was improving? Maybe??? But the weather at the time was also getting cooler, so I told myself it was probably that. Autumn and winter are her favorite seasons and she loves the cold weather. I got some cheaper supplements treats to alternate with the Zesty Paws, and it sort of seemed like she did better on days that she took the Zesty Paws. “Probably just a coincidence,” I thought. When we ran out, it took awhile for things to really change, but without a doubt she seemed to age one or two years in a matter of months. I bought these again and currently give just one to her daily, and it is astounding the difference. Stairs are easy for her, and she actually runs. Yes. My 13 year old dog will get at least one run in every day. I’ve tried other Zesty supplements intermittently since they were sold out of this exact one a couple of times when we needed them. The 11-in-One remains the best for her overall mood and mobility. The Aller-Immune senior seems like second best, and I’ve decided to try one of each per day. So far so good! I think they complement each other well and my sweet angel Leia is enjoying a high quality of life in her golden years. If you’re on the fence about trying these out, I highly highly recommend them.
I have 3 older 11,13, 5 they do not have any problems moving. this is an excellent product. Thank you Olga M. Sais
