Transition Instructions

While it’s perfectly safe to stop feeding your dog’s previous food one day and introduce Zignature the next, we recommend a gradual transition to Zignature for up to two weeks. This is especially true if your dog has been previously fed a high Grain, Corn, Wheat or Soy diet. Start by introducing a small amount of Zignature, increasing it daily while decreasing the previous food by the same amount. This will help avoid an upset stomach as it makes it easier for your pet’s digestive system to acclimate.

  • Highly recommend Zignature!!!

Copper had pancreatitis, food sensitivities, and irritable bowel disease over the past six months. Along with medications and close follow up with his internist, the can and kibble limited ingredient, chicken free, venison food has really helped him recover!!

  • Great venison canned food!

    By on

My dog has IBD and he has done very well with with the Zignature Venison. It is high quality dog food, but frequently is difficult to find. My dog seems to digest it easily and seems to find it tasty. It's texture is a pate. I would definitely recommend Zignature canned venison!

  • Needs better texture

    By on

The content and makeup of the food seems great and my dogs love it, however the texture is terrible. Very thick and paste-like and you have to scrape and scrape the can to get it out. I'm wondering if something has changed as it seems that when I first bought this earlier in the year, it wasn't this paste-like.

  • New Formula??

    By on

Have been waiting (patiently) for venison to be available again. But the new version is sticky and hard to get out of the can. 15yo dog loves it and is full of energy since I originally put her on it.

  • Trying something new

    By on

My dogs regular dog food has been discontinued so I had to try something else. So far this has been a good choice. He likes it, he seems to be digesting it well and we havs had no issues.

My pup loves mixing the wet with the dry. This brand is the best results we've gotten trying to get him to eat. He literally runs for the food

  • Zignature a name you can count on

    By on

I fed Zignature kibble for years and then moved to raw food for most of my pack. I wanted some canned food that was just venison for a couple of road trips this summer so I order the Zignature Venison formula to see what my dogs think. It is great, they love it. They had no trouble transitioning. I would order it again.

This food is a little sticky. I have to hand feed it to 4 of my dogs. (I have 8)

  • My pup loves it!

After dealing with food sensitivities in my collies, my vet suggested we switch the protein in their diet. I ordered Zignature Venison canned to mix with their dry kibble. The dogs can't wait for me to put their bowls down! They love it and no more tummy issues!
