While it’s perfectly safe to stop feeding your dog’s previous food one day and introduce Zignature the next, we recommend a gradual transition to Zignature for up to two weeks. This is especially true if your dog has been previously fed a high Grain, Corn, Wheat or Soy diet. Start by introducing a small amount of Zignature, increasing it daily while decreasing the previous food by the same amount. This will help avoid an upset stomach as it makes it easier for your pet’s digestive system to acclimate.

My goldendoodle with multiple food protein allergies has been eating Natural Balance venison and sweet potato for several years and really didn’t like it. I switched to American Journey venison limited ingredient food and what an improvement! And when he got sick, we added Zignature venison wet food. It’s expensive and was out of our budget (we supplement with ZiwiPeak venison). He really likes this food! He waits at his bowl for breakfast and dinner now. Now I wish I had splurged and given it to him all along.

Our Dachshund has had so many skin issues, allergies. Antibiotics and allergy meds haven't worked and we've been at this for a long time. The medicated shampoos help temporarily but that's with 2 baths a week. We've tried prescription dog food, tried no grain, limited chicken and turkey ingredient canned and dry foods with little success. She isn't a picky eater and eats what we put before her but she starts scratching immediately after consumption. The Vet recommended Venison, she's never tried it at 14 years old and he thought it'd possibly trick her immune system. This is pricy but if it works it's worth it. Order on way?

Can't tell you how disappointing Chewy is with handling shipments, normally we would have orders in no less than 4 days but this seems extreme.We've been a customers for years now. Even considering we are under the Covid 19 issues, and Chewy are running behind schedules and have had delays on shipment 7 to 10 day & are aware of that. However, our order still has not reached us. Order is in stock and Ordered April 1st and today is April 16th! And No shipment has arrived yet, sad dogs.So very difficult to rate, since do not have the product.

Smelled ok but I was grossed out over finding many pieces of bone fragments in the food . I chose to not feed it to my little dog.

Chewy out of our usual Lamb. Figured we would try this type. My 53lb Bulldog refused to each it! I had mixed it with dry food and he walked away from it entirely. He usually is NEVER picky. Need the lamb formula ASAP!

This is the first time I bought this food, and I was surprised how dry it is! It is hard to get it out of the can, that's how much is dry, and I had to mix it with water. It's not expired, smells good, my dog likes it (that's why I am giving it 3 stars) but I don't think I will buy it again.

I try to avoid foods with chicken, so Zignature has become my go-to brand. I’ve slowly been making my way through the flavors with no issues, until now. For a food that is supposed to have 75% moisture, the Venison is on the dry/crumbly side. There also isn’t a smell to it. It’s an odd thing to say, but dog food smells. The smell is what brings the dogs over (especially my blind dog). This food is virtually odorless. Maybe I got a bad batch. I gave two stars for Chewy, and Zignature overall, but I wouldn’t recommend the Venison.
