Your pup will enjoy a delicious dinner made with real Venison from New Zealand, wholesome peas, chickpeas, and flaxseed. Transition Instructions

While it’s perfectly safe to stop feeding your dog’s previous food one day and introduce Zignature the next, we recommend a gradual transition to Zignature for up to two weeks. This is especially true if your dog has been previously fed a high Grain, Corn, Wheat or Soy diet. Start by introducing a small amount of Zignature, increasing it daily while decreasing the previous food by the same amount. This will help avoid an upset stomach as it makes it easier for your pet’s digestive system to acclimate.

  • Wonderful product!!

My little dog has been chewing on her feet for a long time. I’ve tried allergy shots and the allergy pills and nothing really helped. I read that venison worked well in dogs with allergies. She has been on it a short while and already she is improving. At first she refused to eat it but I waited her out!!! Now she is eating it with just a little reluctance!!! She does miss getting little bites of my food.

  • Three of Three refused to eat!

    By on

My three (admittedly picky, poultry-allergic, junior to senior Vizslas) eaters have been joyfully consuming Zignature Kangaroo kibble for weeks now. To simplify things, thought I would switch their canned food top-dressing from Nature’s Logic to this, Zignature Venison canned. BIG MISTAKE. Opening the can, I wondered because it has a faintly but distinct foul odor & is very sticky. Thought, ah well they will almost certainly like that. NO WAY. All three flatly refused. For days. I gave unopened cans to Wildlife Center for raccoons & foxes to try. THANK YOU CHEWY for accepting return of 3 unopened cases and crediting my account!

  • Needs better texture

    By on

The content and makeup of the food seems great and my dogs love it, however the texture is terrible. Very thick and paste-like and you have to scrape and scrape the can to get it out. I'm wondering if something has changed as it seems that when I first bought this earlier in the year, it wasn't this paste-like.

  • Great venison canned food!

My dog has IBD and he has done very well with with the Zignature Venison. It is high quality dog food, but frequently is difficult to find. My dog seems to digest it easily and seems to find it tasty. It's texture is a pate. I would definitely recommend Zignature canned venison!

  • Highly recommend Zignature!!!

Copper had pancreatitis, food sensitivities, and irritable bowel disease over the past six months. Along with medications and close follow up with his internist, the can and kibble limited ingredient, chicken free, venison food has really helped him recover!!

  • My dogs loved it!!!

I add this canned food in with my dogs kibble and they love it. It is a bit pricey, but the dogs love it and it seems to be pretty natural. Which is very good.

  • New Formula??

    By on

Have been waiting (patiently) for venison to be available again. But the new version is sticky and hard to get out of the can. 15yo dog loves it and is full of energy since I originally put her on it.

My dogs regular dog food has been discontinued so I had to try something else. So far this has been a good choice. He likes it, he seems to be digesting it well and we havs had no issues.

  • High-Quality Food

    By on

This is one of the best canned foods I have purchased. I feed it supplementally, as part of enrichment, and even with a small spoonful a day that my mini aussie has, I've noticed a distinct improvement in her coat quality and in her energy levels - so much so that I'm considering switching to the kibble as well. It is very high quality, well worth the price, and great food from a great company.
