My ball python loves this, she practically only uses this hide in her enclosure even though she it too big for it. I personally wouldn’t recommend this for hatchling ball pythons the snake could get stuck in the small hole if it decides to try to go through it
Its exactly what it says it is.

Bought this because the q&a said it would be safe for axolotls and its perfect for my 10gal 1 axolotl tank. He didn't use the inside part at first but surprisingly likes to use it for the height. He now sits under it sometimes. I put it in there incase the sun is too bright and he wants to hide. The inside is smooth and the 2 big openings are smooth enough so he doesnt hurt himself. Honestly this product is perfect and is exactly what i expected.

When it arrived, the color looked nice, and the size was decent! I haven't put it in their enclosure yet, but my tortoise loves climbing logs. He was able to go inside, but he can probably get stuck, but imma put a plant on that side.
my leos enjoy it

Paint Comes Off
on Mar 16, 2021
I gave this 2 because it is well priced and looks great, I was very happy when I opened the box! Now the downside, it states that it can be used with water, but within about 2 weeks the paint started coming off and now it’s almost completely white and looks terrible :( Would not recommend for aquatic.
Paint comes off after 2 weeks!

I'm using this for my frog tank. The size is fantastic, I was happy when I saw it. However after only TWO WEEKS the part that is underwater is losing paint - very quickly. I will try to add a photo.
It might be fine for DRY environments like with a lizard, but it's definitely not made for semi-aquatic tanks or fishtanks. Disappointed.
Not entirely ideal for underwater use, but it's ok.

It's a cool shape and a very good size for a big (7") pleco to hide in, but the paint on it immediately came off after it had been in my aquarium for a week. The log is almost completely white inside and out now from my pleco rasping on it. I assume the paint is nontoxic since he seems fine, but it was very disappointing since I wanted the log to be brown and look natural amongst the other wood in my aquarium.
Item broke in shipping

This broke in shipping, Chewy sent a new one which also broke. Think the item would be nice if Chewy took into consideration the fragile state of the item before sending it and boxed it correctly. Would think the second time around they'd have at least wrapped it up.
Smaller than I expected

I bought a medium and it’s perfect for my beardie but it did end up being smaller than I thought. When I looked at the dimensions, I measured it in my tank and it is definitely not the same size
Perfect hide away for a turtle
on Jan 12, 2021
We have a red ear slider, who is approximately 9-10 months old and he fit perfectly and enjoys a little hide away clubhouse. Good quality. The kids and I like that I can sneak a peek in on him.
