Useless Clips
By FeralFamily on Jul 30, 2020 top250Contributor
So these cost a bit and they feel big and heavy and like they might last. BUT you would have to install them for them to do you any good and that's the issue. You need to drill holes in your screen frame. Ok but it would be nice to have a template cause otherwise you are measuring or guessing. Then the thick plastic bottom clamps need to wedge between the terrarium glass and trim. Well, if you have a nice terrarium there isn't a lip or space to do this because trim is sealed to the glass. Again I could have done it if I wanted to sit and pick at caulking for ages or cosmetically mess up the tank. Its the width and legnth of the plastic (again nice because it feels sturdy but awful to retrofit So these cost a bit and they feel big and heavy and like they might last. These are the only clips I will ever use for reptile enclosures.
By Cats on Oct 20, 2020
These clips are secure, they screw into the tank lid so I know that they're stable. And not once has any of my reptiles come close to escaping.

Difficult to use
By michelle on Sep 3, 2019
I was so excited to finally see these in stock, and ordered 2 sets for my snake tanks. It took a while to get them to latch, and then when I finally did, they didn't seem secure enough. I went back to the simple metal clips!

Too hard to mess with
By Scotty on Jun 11, 2018
Nothing against chewy....but these suck. Too hard to install, take too long to get into cage...maybe if I opened it once a month....simple clips work best!!! Gave mine away!!

Keeps the tank locked down for my crested gecko and does the job.

Bulky and cumbersome
By Snakelover on Oct 6, 2017
Not impressed. Bulky clips that were quite trying. Bought set for screen on snake tank and wouldn't secure sufficiently to keep my new ball python inside

Good lock..slightly cumbersome to figure out
By Happyface on Sep 14, 2017
Keep the screen lock very well, but not really easy to figure out

Cheap & never worked
By Sahm10 on Jun 8, 2017
There's a pin you insert to keep it from moving that seems to have no purpose and it doesn't stop it from opening. It came as a pack of two and the one seems to hold a little but the other never worked. When inspecting the working one to see how it would catch and hold it stopped working.
