Zilla Shed-Ease Reptile Bath helps pet reptiles shed their old skin with ease and comfort. A twenty-minute bath in Shed-Ease and water simplifies the process by softening the outer skin. This helps it slide off easily to make way for healthy new skin to emerge. Shed-Ease is safe even for reptiles that are under stress or in poor health due to improper diet or lack of humidity.
Rich formula of aloe vera and other emollients facilitates shedding and promotes the development of healthy skin in reptiles
In order to grow, reptiles must shed old skin - using Shed-Ease results in the old skin easily sliding off of the reptile
Add 10 ml to 16 ounces of water to create a soaking bath for reptiles - 20 Minute soak is like a spa treatment for reptiles
Also ideal for animals suffering from poor health or diet, stress or lack of humidity
Do not pull off dry skin from a reptile, make sure water level is shallow enough that animal's head is out of the water, never leave soaking reptile unattended
Shake well before use. Add 10 ml of Shed-Ease to 16 ounces of lukewarm water. Soak reptile for 20 minutes to allow emollients to penetrate skin. Old skin should slip off easily. If any old skin remains, gently rub to remove. Do not attempt to pull dry skin off. Never leave soaking reptiles unattended. For reptiles naturally found in high humidity environments, soak for 10 minutes once per week. When soaking your reptile, always make sure the water is shallow enough that the animal can easily keep its head above the water.
When I got my snake, she had mites so I had to put her in a quarantine setting. Well that made it nearly impossible to keep humidity up so her sheds were horrible. I’d give her some time to try getting it off on her own but when I really the shed was dried out and stuck, I’d soak her in a small bath with this stuff. Stuck shed would come off no problem and she would be fairly soft afterwards.

My bearded dragon gets cranky when he sheds. This time around when his legs and toes were shedding he stayed in his hide for 2 days. His two feet had shed that wouldn’t come off even with a warm bath. When I received this product I immediately gave him a warm bath with it. He is not a huge fan of baths so I only got him to soak for a little over 5 minutes but within less than 3 hours his skin came off!! I have had my beardie for 6 months and wish I had known about this product and bought it sooner for other stubborn sheds.

One of my reptiles consistently has an issue shedding. For lizards, this can mean constriction around their toes by remaining skin, eyecaps, & other 'itchy' sensitive problems due to incomplete molting. Shed-Ease did just that & more, removing a ring of older molt...restoring full motion in her tiny clawed feet. Great product, great price.

I tried plain water soaking and soft brushing to remove the stuck shed from my iguana for over a month but it didn’t help. This product had immediate results - when combined with soft brushing. The dead skin underneath is now peeling and new skin will soon appear. My vet was very pleased.
Good but read instructions before buying!

I don't hate this product, but to get the proper strength as directed on the bottle requires using a ton of product for a single reptile bath! I thought this product would last longer than it did. It also concerns me that it doesn't mention if it is safe for reptiles to drink this product (many reptiles, including my own, like to drink their bath water). I don't think the product made a huge difference in my beardie's shedding, but it's hard to tell if it did or not!
Works for me....

We use it whenever one of the snakes starts rubbing his face on us. Next day, without fail, there is shed all over the place. Otherwise we bathe them without it.
